All Types of Fever (freewrite)
Just when I thought World Cup Football fever had ended, we had unending fever of excitement. Over here in Malaysia, we had durian fever, followed by shopping fever, food fever, holiday fever, etc.

The fever never seems to end. We also have many children with fever due to hand-foot-mouth disease which I am very afraid of. The last we want is our children fall ill. It is always painful to see them in pain and agony. Children are meant to be bubbly and lively. And when their bodies' temperatures spike due to pathogen, it causes us to worry. Although the increased in temperature is believed able to help kill those pathogens, it leaves our children weak and tired and cranky. Paracetamol helps relieve them for awhile before the next spike, and every night parents pray hard that the fever will subside soon. 

I am so tired right now that my thoughts go blank for awhile. Yet I am thankful, in @mariannewest's freewriting, we can write out our thoughts without fearing what is right and what is wrong. Time flies so fast, without realising we have less than 4 months before the year end. 

Soon there will be Christmas fever. Everywhere you go, you see malls, shops and restaurants be decorated with Christmas tree, snowflakes, jingle bells, so on and so forth. Often, this Christmas season leaves people having hole in their pocket or wallet. Meaning, people spend alot during this season buying presents, trying their best to keep up to it to commemorate by Christmas decoration and Christmas eating. 

But we do we really need to spend that much, just to realise at the end of the year we have nothing much left, or worse still, in credit card debt? 

This year, I want to spend lesser fiat but more time spent bonding with loved ones. Maybe not much Christmas decoration or presents, but to delve into the real meaning of Christmas, where Christ came from His glory to the broken world, so to change the broken to glorious. 

Sorry for my pieces of thoughts scattered here and there for this freewrite. There are so many things going on my head now. But time is up. I will talk to you next time. 😊
