EPL MATCHDAY 24: Chelsea vs Newcastle United. Can the Magpies put an end to Thomas Tuchel's unbeaten run as Chelsea's Manager?

The final fixtures of the EPL matchday 24 takes place today with London teams West Ham United and Chelsea hosting Sheffield United and Newcastle United respectively. Huge games for both London teams who are level on the the same point, but with Chelsea ahead thanks to a superior goal difference.

Well, there will not be much problem for me picking a fixture to analyze as I will gladly choose the fixture involving my beloved team, Chelsea.

Let us proceed to the analysis, shall we?

1) CHELSEA:
The Blues have being nothing short of fantastic under their new coach Thomas Tuchel, keeping possession as usual whilst maintaining a sturdy backline that seems very hard to breach. No wonder they are on 5 matches unbeaten run and also 4 matches winning streak in all competitions under the German gaffer. If we are to compare the above stat to that of Newcastle United in as many games which consist 2 wins and 3 losses, it is definitely logical to say Chelsea would most likely get a win. I bet the Magpies willl be wary of this too.
Another stat that favors the Blues is their dominant "head to head" stat over the Magpies in the last 8 meetings between both sides which comprises 6 wins and losses in favour of the Blues. This will definitive give a huge psychological boost to Thomas Tuchel's side going into this game.
Furthermore, the Blues will most likely be looking to make it 5 wins out of a possible 5 at the Bridge as the Magpies are yet to defeat them in their last 5 visits to the Bridge.
2) NEWCASTLE UNITED:
Although the stats above combined with the overall perform ace of the Magpies does not favour them getting a win, a drive to avoid slipping into the relegation zone is definitely something that would inspire them to get a win here. We have seen Burnley shock Liverpool, Sheffield United shock Manchester United, another shocker might just be around the corner, who knows?
Another stat that would favor the Magpies is Chelsea's "not too good" form playing at home. The Blues have only been able to claim 19 points at home out of their overall 39 points this season in the EPL which shows how poor they have been playing at home. Newcastle will definitely be looking forward to benefiting from this poor form.

A draw is definitely not off the deck as well in this game as Chelsea's forward do not look much of a threat for now. However, the question here is if Newcastle's defence can hold on tight against the huge pressures the Blues willl be mounting when the latter claim a higher percentage of the ball.
