나는 R기반으로 Bayesian Modeling을 돌려 경영현상을 분석하는 걸로 박사를 받고, 빅데이터 관련 일을 하다가, 자산운용사에 갔다가, 현재는 VC의 심사역 일을 하고 있다.

암호화폐에 대한 첫인상은 튤립에 버금가는 버블이라고 생각했다. 하지만 Steemit 등을 보고 생각을 바꾸게 되었다.

어떠한 자산이든 Token으로 유동화할 수 있는 기술이라는 점에서 강한 파급력을 느낀다. 
Steemit의 Proof-Of-Brain 개념도 아주 신빡하다. 과연 어디까지 갈 수 있는 개념일까?
당분간 이 블록체인에 대한 가능성을 탐구해볼 생각이다.

그와 더불어 내가 관심있는 딥러닝을 활용한 이미지분석 기반의 AI관련해서 글을 쓰려고 한다.
나는 바둑의 오랜 팬이었고, 인간을 이긴 ALPHAGO에 매료되었다.
이제 AI가 사람보다 잘하는 지능 영역이 생기기 시작했다.

나는 이것에 엄청난 가능성을 느낀다.

I'm an investor, studying block-chain related ecosystem.

I received my PhD degree in Management Engineering in KOREA. (Somewhat related to Big Data Analytics)
Formerly, I was employed by Samsung Insurance Company doing Big Data Analytics for consumer research.
Now, I'm working for a venture capital in South Korea, as a team leader. 

I thought that block-chains and cryptocurrencies are highly over-rated and ridiculously over-priced. 
Steemit white paper changed my mind. it's simply brilliant. (Proof-Of-Brain? Aha!)

Now I think that cryptocurrencies may be over-priced, but block-chains have a lot of potentials.
And I want to find out more about them. 
I'll post my progresses regarding them.

Also, I'm interested in Deep-learning based image analysis and applications, like ALPHAGO.
Now, AI do better than humans in particular domains.
I see great potential in AI, too.
