News has clearly been the main catalyst behind Sprint stock.  A big opportunity if you can properly predict if Sprint and T-Mobile can come to an agreement.

The news right now is that there seems to have been a leak recently that talks are aiming to reach an agreement next week! Will talks result in a deal this time around?  You decide, but there will certainly be much more volatility coming in this stock.  

My opinion on this deal falls in line with an article you can read <a href=“https://finance.yahoo.com/news/sprint-t-mobile-set-announce-203400360.html”>here.</a>  As the article states, Sprint stock after a successful deal should be evaluated around $6.50 a share.  The markets have clearly already priced this deal in, and anything more is just overbought, deal or no deal.  If the deal fails, Sprint stock could be in for quite the tumble.  Going long here has little potential, but going short could rake in the big bucks if you think the talks will fail.  There is also the possibility to wait for good news and short Sprint right after the hype pushes it up into very overbought conditions.
