Calculating Net Gains of PolyCUB Investment - Week 11 💰

PolyCUB token has been recovering from the bottom level that was tested on the 2nd of May and the accumulation is still going on. Since the beginning of this month, the sharp decrease triggered by the FUD in crypto has diminished.

As PolyCUB token is a deflationary token with utilities such as [governance voting](https://leofinance.io/@leofinance/xpolycub-governance-or-our-first-vote-on-yield-dynamics), bonding and collaterals, the demand on the coin is likely to increase while the emission rate is decreasing gradually.

The stability in the price of PolyCUB helps users recover losses if they have and motivates people to buy and stake tokens on xPolyCUB staking. IMO, these are some of the days that we tested below $1 for the PolyCUB token.

Let's remember the performance of our PolyCUB investment till last week and the changes this week.

### The Performance of Investment - Week 10
[Last Week](https://leofinance.io/@idiosyncratic1/calculating-net-gains-of-polycub-investment-week-10) yielded gradually positive results as the price of the token tested the deep levels earlier.

### The Performance of Initial Investment - Week 11
As of writing, the price of a PolyCUB token is $0.164 which is above %10 from last week's price.

Still the gains of LP is shown as -%75-80 considering the initial investment prices. However, even these rates will be green in Q4 2022 as for me.

Like the earlier weeks, the total gains of pools look negative if the harvests and re-investment factors are disregarded. Let's see the return of re-investment on xPolyCUB staking.

### xPolyCUB Staking Revenue
The return on our investment is getting better each week thanks to the stability of the prices and the overall condition in the crypto ecosystem.

This week we increased the number of PolyCUB tokens from 928 to 940 through consistent investment strategies. If the price of token reaches $1 as speculated, there will be no losses coming from the pools.

Also, we have 125 PolyCUB tokens ($20) being harvested that will be staked when they are unlocked.

In total:
-$261 from USDC / PolyCUB pool
-$42 from WETH Pool
+$155 from xPolyCUB staking
+$20 from liquid PolyCUB

= -$127 net gains on our initial investment
Note: The net gains from our investment were -$153 last week.
This is the immediate effect of the %10 pumps on PolyCUB.

### HBD Savings & pHBD / USDC Pool
In the 4th week of our stablecoin investment on the PolyCUB platform, we see that the pool is doing perfectly fine.

As of writing, the pHBD pool provides %26 APR for your investment. Also, I've earned **25 PolyCUB** tokens ($4) for providing liquidity for 4 weeks.

Next week we will be able to compare the APY results of both sides as there will be unlocked tokens to be staked on xPolyCUB

### TL;DR
Every percentage of the pump is directly affecting our initial investment experiment on PolyCUB. This week we increased the amount of staked xPolyCUB by 12 tokens and 125 PolyCUB tokens are waiting for the claim button.

This week the net gains/losses of our investment decreased to **-$127** which may turn into a positive return if the price of the token reaches **$0.80 - $1** levels.

On the other hand, the stablecoin investment experiment yielded that 25 PolyCUB tokens are earned in 4 weeks of LP. Also, the APY rate will be considered for HBD Pool. In most cases, **25 PolyCUB** tokens ($4) is a great return 😌
