<div class="text-justify">In Crypto every other day hundreds of coins are being created on chains and thousands of Altcoins are already listed on major exchanges.

<br>Where people actively trade Altcoins and they're highly volatile and risk to reward ratio is considered higher in this.

When the right time will come [Altcoins](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/leoglossary-altcoin) will see endgame and the decline of certain Altcoins is inevitable which one are those and how they'll fall and never see a rise again is something we'll discuss ahead in this blog.

<h6> The Inevitable Decline of Certain Altcoins </h6>

In [Crypto](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency) there are varieties of Altcoins you can name from memes based [coins](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/leoglossary-coins) to Gamefi, [DeFi](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/leoglossary-decentralized-finance-defi) or [Ai](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/leoglossary-artificial-intelligence), LSDs, Zks, [layer 0, 2](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/leoglossary-layer-2) etc etc.

New one's keep on coming and from all those choices it becomes hard for you to make an [investment](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/leoglossary-investment).

Especially when Altcoins start to lose value it go down fast and recovery takes a lot of time and some never recovers.

From these varieties of Altcoins I have observed a lot from bull run and bear market. So, some of those kind of Altcoins are mentioned below.

<b> 1- Altcoins Without Utility </b>

A buyer always want a product that have some utility but crypto isn't that matured yet so as long as new shinny coins do perform without having utility - demand will exist.

But won't last for long, in this category meme coins is prime example that will see a decline over the time because of not having any utility.

So, DOGE and SHIB is oldest meme coins still do perform and will keep performing since Elon musk and doge + dogechain (no matter if it's a ghost chain) and Shiba now have shibarium (no matter if it becomes another Ghost chain).

They do have some sort of utility and rest of Altcoins in memes category are like came and dusted when their trend was over.

<b> Undervalued Altcoins with Utility </b>

Some Altcoins with Utility are in top 100 or top 20 even but mostly are still undervalued that are ignored mostly like $HIVE utility is something that should bring it's marketcap to TRX aka tron.

Well, I guess it's matter of some years when rest of Altcoins with no utility will die and momentum will shift towards the one undervalued Altcoins with Utility existing in [market](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/leoglossary-market).

<b> 2- The Fall of Marketing Based Altcoins </b> 

When it comes to Altcoins who are overvalued due to hype created by marketing is going to see decline sooner or later.

Like $MATIC is actually one of those coins who got sold to people by doing peak marketing but they do have utility and product.

But that marketing part will keep it behind and with every rise it will see more downfall.

Altcoins actually shilled by influencers or such is something I put in this category.

<b> 3- The Altcoins with No Community </b>

Thousands of Altcoins exist and those people in crypto are found in different communities like Sol, [Hive](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/leoglossary-what-is-hive), OP, ARB etc.

Communities are the heart of Altcoins without us, they'll die faster than our expectations.

Without Community Altcoins and [Blockchains](https://leofinance.io/post/@leoglossary/blockchain) are called Ghost one's where no activity or action is performed.

So, as long as Altcoins are increasing more people will diversified into community fits to their interest and rest of Alt's who don't have community left will see a decline and may not recover ever.

<b> 4- VC's Funded Altcoins </b>

VC's are for their own benefit they invest where they see value and they've turned out most of Altcoins like Sol, AI based or DeFi protocols into big thing.

While they've also didn't care to leave Altcoins they don't care or fit their interest anymore by dumping on retail investors.

Make sense when an Altcoins project isn't going as expected or isn't a trend anymore and there's a better alternative than they move on.

<b> Wrapping Up...</b>

In the end these are the main things you need to see and observe in those Altcoins over the time they'll see a decline and it will be hard for em to recover again.

Though in next one I'll tell the potential reasons or things that will grow some Altcoins to exponential level in different cycles which last for years.
