A Day Out in Town

**Howdy, Hive :)**

It's Wednesday for me which means the week is half-way through already. It still amazes me how time passes by so quickly... Although yesterday, time seemed to have slowed down a bit while we were out to the town for some errands.

We went out the house before 8 am to purchase and deliver some farming inputs to the boys downtown and whilst there, we had a little chitchat with the father-in-law. Then we had half an hour walk around the farms, caught up with the boys who were already hilling up the potatoes that they planted a little over two weeks ago.

And there, we noticed some broccoli seedlings and were told they were excess and not needed so the husband got them into a box thinking he'd plant them in the idle space down the yard. We left the farms around 10:30 am and headed to one of the shops to have the car's lighting checked. The guys took 2 hours between the hood and the fuse box but didn't find where the problem was. We gave them their tip and decided it's time for lunch.

While trying to find a new place to eat, we saw one with a signage that said "Roxe's Munch" but found out they only serve snacks. The husband wanted to have a rice meal so out the door we went but not after buying something from their fridge.

'Graham Flan' as the lady crew puts it and a caramel-flavored jelly drink, both deliciously sweet and even came with a thoughtful "Thank You" note on the packaging. They definitely know how to show their gratitude in so simple yet in a very touching way.

Anyway, we headed to "Mother's Resto" where we enjoyed our little chitchats over rice meals. The husband thought we need to have the lighting fixed within the day. But first, we stopped by at my sister's clinic. She was busy though with patients still queued up so we didn't stay long.

We then drove a little farther away from the town center to a place that was recommended by friends and it was where the lighting puzzle was solved and done at 3:30 pm. And just when we thought there is nothing else to do, the husband suddenly decided to go hunt for a new tractor, lol! After checking about 5 shops, he finally found and bought one to his liking. And when everything was tested and loaded up, it was time to drive home.

On the way, we remembered we were running out of eggs so the husband pulled over by our favorite grocery to get a tray. He definitely knew how to spoil a fun and patient wife when he came back with yet another sweet treat, haha!

Cookies and cream for her and chocolate for him. It's nice to indulge in these little guilty pleasures once in a while. What an awesome treat to end a long yet very productive day in town!

We had so much sugar yesterday but we had more than enough water to wash them off. Is that even reasonable? I wonder... lol!

And that's how our Tuesday went, nothing too mundane but interestingly fun. Thank you and let's continue to live life as we meant it to be :)

Haha, don't listen to it, sis! Lol! You can plant it there, just make sure to keep it hydrated, but not too much water too. 

Thank you sis for your reminders, I am doing well and getting things done. One thing though, I need some RAOk done so I could have the star hehehe. I was waiting for the neighbor's cat to come around so I could feed it hehe. I am cheering for you too so let's get the gold today, yes?

Hey, farm girl, something just dropped in my head and I wanted to confirm if I am right. 

Everytime when I see "the husband" I had the feeling you didn't add the "the", grammarly is the one trying to mess with how you wanted to personify our farm boy... I'm I right? 😉

Hahaha, I do this too.... almost all the time....take lots of sugar and try to diffuse it's effect with lots of water and most times exercises 😂😂😂

Speaking of water and exercise, I hope you've had the right doze of both today?
