Let's be more like kids and their admiration for band-aids...Picking the most colorful one to cover the wound may help with shifting our perception in regards to how we feel about change.</p> <p>Seeking support from others while navigating change is essential, as well as using principles of positive reinforcement in the process itself. When we build rewards into the plan and consider using them properly, we can not only see the progress we make, but sustaining change suddenly becomes easier to many of us. </p> <p>We should not forget the failure component, as it may still happen. This is why working on creating "Plan B"to handle it, when necessary is the key. Just like when mom packs that PBJ sandwich we do not like for lunch and hot school lunch option seems to win over that day for the lack of better choice. Just be it!</p> <p>Keeping our eye on the ball while taking small steps going through change is like learning how to walk all over again, just think about it...</p> <p>Overcoming the fear in order to sustaining change has benefits. We have to go through the motion before we can see them. </p> </html>
