Recently I remembered a famous series that I saw a long time ago, I remember it was broadcast on television, it was called **THE LAST SHIP**, I did not get to see it complete, I only got to watch it until the third season, so I looked for it to retake it, I started watching it from the first to remember it well, it is certainly an interesting series, with a plot that makes us remember what we lived recently, and we are still living, going through a pandemic, by a virus, as I said series that do not escape from reality.
This series was broadcasted in **2014**, long before this **COVID** virus arrived, I guess that's why I remembered it, because of how similar in a way to what we have been going through in recent years, suffering from a virus, which to this day we do not know how it started, but it spread like a plague, around the world, causing many losses, keeping us locked up, away from everyone or everything, unable to see or know for sure what happens in the outside world.

**The Last Ship**, is a series that is based on the spread of a virus, which was called red fever, by the symptoms it produced, but before this happened, a warship, which was away from everything was the only one who managed to escape and stay safe from it, thus being one of the few survivors of this virus, in this position, has the strong situation to help the world find the cure and salvation of mankind.
As I said, this series consists of **5 seasons**, but so far I have only seen the first three and recently started watching the fourth, while I can tell you that in it we will see how this ship in its quest to survive and rescue the rest, will have to be forced to confront those who take advantage of this situation, and want to own the world.
There is no doubt that it will be an exciting and exhaustive journey that the crew members of this ship will live, in the search for hope, and to save the world from this terrible catastrophe as was this virus, a story full of emotion, suspense, pure adrenaline, drama, political wars, in short, it has a little bit of everything, and most importantly, it does not move away from human reality, it shows us everything that man is capable of doing in order to have control, to survive but above all to maintain power.

It has great performances, including the main one, the imposing captain of the ship represented by the actor **Eric Dane (Tom Chandler)**, and I say main, because his position makes him the leader, the head of this ship, making difficult decisions, in order to protect his people, but above all to fulfill his mission, which is why he will do everything possible because this is fulfilled, even if he has to put his life at risk.
On the other hand, we also have the scientist, in charge of finding the cure against this virus, **Dr. Rachel Scott (Rhona Mitra)**, at first she is shown as a simple scientist, but she knew everything that was happening with this virus, something that bothered everyone, because while they were sailing, his family was out there, alone, suffering from this virus.

Not far from reality, desperate people who take advantage of this situation, to get what they want, what they need, regardless of the consequences, moments of anguish, agony, helplessness, is all we see here, and much more, this virus, which spread like a plague, not only ended human life, but with the hopes, the belief in the goodness of people, here everyone was on their own, looking for ways to survive and get ahead.
The human being is so complex, we ourselves complicate ourselves, these situations instead of uniting us as humanity, what it does is to separate us, it should not be like that, we are all humans, we live on the same planet, we must support each other, lend that helping hand, whether from another country, from another origin, the purpose is the same, survive, save the population, cure and heal others, this is what we must think of everything.
Above all, those who are in power, the politicians, who have control of everything, it is here where we visualize this political war, this constant struggle to encompass and manage everything, to what end, what good does it do them, where is their humanity, their love for society, for their fellow man, to protect their people.

Just as we see people who only think of themselves, there are also those who still believe in goodness, maintain hope, and the need to protect and care for those who need it, in this series we can see this and much more, despite everything, the crew of this ship, will do everything possible to safeguard and care for those who require it, risking their lives, and also suffering the consequences of losing his family.
It is certainly an interesting series, worth watching, as I mentioned, it contains a little bit of everything, so you will not get bored, I hope to finish watching the last two seasons that I have left, but surely it will have a good outcome, or so I hope.

Existen todo tipo de series, esas que te atrapan por su trama, sus historias, algunas ficticias, otras basadas en eventos reales, unas que te muestran el futuro, de lo que podría pasarle a la humanidad, con tantos avances tecnológicos y científicos, en fin, estamos en una nueva era, donde todo es posible, todo puede pasar, la pregunta más importante seria, **¿estamos preparados?**

Hace poco recordé una famosa serie que vi hace mucho tiempo, recuerdo la transmitían por televisión, se llamaba THE LAST SHIP, no la llegue a ver completa, solo alcance mirarla hasta la tercera temporada, por eso la busque para retomarla, comencé a verla desde la primera para recordarla bien, sin duda es una serie interesante, con una trama que nos hace recordar lo que vivimos hace poco, y que aún estamos viviendo, el pasar por una pandemia, por un virus, como dije series que no escapan de la realidad.
Esta serie se trasmitió en el año 2014, mucho antes de que llegara este virus del COVID, supongo que por eso la recordé, por lo parecido de cierta forma a lo que hemos estado pasando en los últimos años, el sufrir por un virus, que hasta el día de hoy desconocemos bien como empezó, pero que se propagó como una plaga, por todo el mundo, causando muchas pérdidas, manteniéndonos encerrados, alejados de todos o de todo, sin poder ver o saber a ciencia cierta que sucede en el mundo exterior.

**The Last Ship**, es una serie que se basa en la propagación de un virus, al cual denominaron fiebre roja, por los síntomas que producía, pero antes de que esto sucediera, un buque de guerra, el cual se encontraba alejado de todo, fue el único que logró escapar y mantenerse a salvo del mismo, siendo así, uno de los pocos sobrevivientes de este virus, en esta posición, cuenta con la fuerte situación de ayudar al mundo a encontrar la cura y la salvación de la humanidad.
Como dije, esta serie consta de **5 temporadas**, pero hasta los momentos solo he visto las tres primeras y recientemente comencé a ver la cuarta, mientras les puedo comentar que en la misma podremos ver como este navío en su búsqueda por sobrevivir y rescatar al resto, tendrá que verse obligado a enfrentarse a aquellos que se aprovechan de esta situación, y quieren ser dueños del mundo.
No cabe duda que será un emocionante y exhaustivo recorrido que vivirán los tripulantes de este buque, en la búsqueda de la esperanza, y lograr salvar al mundo de esta terrible catástrofe como lo fue este virus, una historia llena de emoción, suspenso, adrenalina pura, drama, guerras políticas, en fin, tiene de todo un poco, y lo más importante, no se aleja de la realidad humana, nos muestra todo lo que el hombre es capaz de hacer con tal de tener el control, de sobrevivir pero sobre todo mantener el poder.

Cuenta con grandes actuaciones, entre ellas la principal, el imponente capitán del barco representado por el actor **Eric Dane (Tom Chandler)**, y digo principal, porque su cargo lo hace ser el líder, el jefe de este buque, el tomar las decisiones difíciles, con tal proteger a su gente, pero sobre todo cumplir con su misión, es por ello que hará todo lo posible porque esto se cumpla, así deba poner su vida en riesgo.
Por otra parte, también tenemos a la científica, encargada de dar con la cura contra este virus, la doctora **Rachel Scott (Rhona Mitra)**, al principio ella se muestra como una simple científica, pero ella sabía todo lo que estaba pasando con este virus, algo que molesto mucho a todos, porque mientras ellos estaban navegando, su familia estaba allá fuera, solos, sufriendo este virus.

No alejado de la realidad, personas desesperadas que se aprovechan de esta situación, para conseguir lo que quieren, lo que necesiten, sin importar las consecuencias, momentos de angustia, de agonía, de impotencia, es todo lo que vemos aquí, y mucho más, este virus, que se propagó como una plaga, no solo acabo con la vida humana, sino con las esperanzas, el creer en la bondad de las personas, aquí cada quien estaba por su lado, buscando la forma de sobrevivir y salir adelante.
El ser humano es tan complejo, nosotros mismos nos complicamos, estas situaciones en vez de unirnos como humanidad, lo que hace es separarnos, no debería de ser así, todos somos humanos, vivimos en el mismo planeta, debemos apoyarnos, prestar esa mano amiga, sea de otro país, de otro origen, el propósito es el mismo, sobrevivir, salvar la población, curar y sanar a los demás, esto es lo que debemos pensar todo.
Sobre todo, los que están en el poder, los políticos, que tiene el control de todo, es aquí donde visualizamos esta guerra política, esta lucha constante por abarcar y manejar todo, con qué fin, de que les sirve, donde queda su humanidad, su amor por la sociedad, por el prójimo, por proteger a su gente.

Así como vemos gente que solo piensa en ellos, también existen los que aún creen en la bondad, mantienen la esperanza, y esa necesidad de proteger y cuidar a los que lo necesiten, en esta serie podemos ver esto y mucho más, a pesar de todo, los tripulantes de este barco, hará todo lo posible, por salvaguardar y cuidar a aquellos que lo requieran, arriesgando su vida, y sufriendo también las consecuencias de perder a su familia.

Sin duda es una interesante serie, que vale la pena ver, como les mencione, contiene de todo un poco, por lo que no se aburrirán, espero terminar de ver las últimas dos temporadas que me faltan, pero seguro tendrá un buen desenlace, o eso espero.
