Greetings my dear friends, today's lunch was full of flavour, although I made the shredded meat with a different cut of meat than usual, it was delicious, I have prepared this recipe several times and I like it more and more, for its flavour and for how easy it is to prepare.

Onoto oil

Boil the piece of meat in water with herbs (thyme and a bay leaf), when the meat is soft let it cool and shred it; take the onions, garlic and Sweet peppers to the food processor, the result will be a thick mixture full of flavour.

To obtain my onoto oil, I just cook the onoto seeds with vegetable oil over low heat and that's it. Once I have obtained my oil, I can start cooking the mixture of onions, garlic and sweet peppers.

The colour is beautiful and the aroma is incredible, after cooking for two or three minutes add the shredded meat and salt, mix everything with strong movements, cook for at least ten minutes and add the meat broth, cover and let it make a delicious sauce, you can combine it with white rice, it also serves as a filling for empanadas and arepas!

El color es hermoso y el aroma es increíble, luego de cocinar por dos o tres minutos agregamos la carne desmenuzada y sal , mezclamos todo con movimientos fuertes, cocinamos al menos unos diez minutos y le añadimos el caldo de carne , tapamos y dejamos hacer una deliciosa salsa,  puedes combinar con arroz blanco, también sirve de relleno para empanadas y arepas!
