In my opinion, perceived attention value is one of the most under-utilized asset classes in the world today. I mean, all the other social networks are tapping into this market (think ad revenue of FB, Insta and etc...). It's perceived attention value, that's sold to people all around the world.

The current market is small compared to the market that crypto avails. Remember, population wise, a lot more people are economically excluded than included. So there's a bigger "untapped" market for attention than what we currently see (with the billion dollar valuations and all).

What gives me so much optimism and hope on Hive is the ability to create a token to which you can assign independent and isolated attention value pegged to the audience of the token creator, that is sufficiently immutable and liquid.

# What I envision for Native Ads

I hope Native Ads becomes a base protocol to avail attention markets (by whole websites, communities, or niche groups) to anyone in the world who's looking to integrate a crypto that's censorship-resistant and liquid (as crypto has proven to be).

# Brief thoughts on tokenomics

There are many ways to design a global token that represents attention value and I hope to support as many as possible with Native Ads.

- you can have a token that's burnt to gain the attention of a particular group of people
- or one that is distributed through Proof-of-Brain to valuable contributors, which is also pegged to various attention outlets like homepage time, or any other attention time-slot.

These are the kinds of tokens I'm seriously optimistic about on Hive.

And all these tokens can be plugged back to the people who are interacting with the said platform, in the form of rewards. So technically they will be getting paid in a toke that represents their attention market value, essentially selling their attention to people who want it.
