I saw the orange fencing around the Maple tree on the other side of the sidewalk and nothing around these 4 trees.

I knew they were going to kill these 4 trees.

And yesterday they did. They came in with that big hitachi backhoe and just tore them down.

Sad. I am sad about how people think of life. They think they own it. I saw that @lauralemons committed suicide and I saw that someone wrote a post about how "suicide is fine" ...

...people think they "own" the planet. Maybe they go by their mistranslation of the old testament where they think they have "dominion" - a misunderstanding of the idea of "dominion".

People seem to think that they can do whatever they want. People who are cut off from their CARE think they can do whatever they want. They think that we are not all connected. That what one does, does not affect another, or that one is more important than another. This is a lie. We are all equal. There is no authority, but the Creator.

We do not "own" life. We do not "own" the earth. We are a species with the capacity for holistic intelligence, which means that we have FREE WILL to choose the Right or the Wrong action, and pay the consequences either way. We must evolve or we are devolving. Evolving means that we raise our CONSCIOUSNESS - we grow in consciousness - that's how we EVOLVE. We evolve through RIGHT ACTION. Animals and other creature here do not have the capacity for holistic intelligence, and yet, we abdicate personal responsibility for our FREE WILL by giving our moral decisions to psychopaths.

As above, so below. As I saw the Mexican workers tear up the 4 trees, I wondered. Have they been doing this for so long now that they are numb to it? Does it not even bother them anymore? They are just the pee-ons - this is the whole world now. If my boss told me to cut down 4 trees, I would have to say NO and put my life in the hands of Natural Law!
