You are a very capable person – you also have a lot of pride in your work. You have a deep-seated belief that you can rely 100% on yourself and that makes you, not only feel but be in control – unless there is something completely out of left-field - like this CV situation – and then all your things that work usually stop working and you are panicked. Usually you just reach up to what you believe to be your mind, for the answers – but actually, that is your limiting belief – you are actually receiving Guidance all the time, and then taking credit for it.
This is very limiting for you – why? The Powers that are guiding you give you free-will choice to ask them for help or not – but something in the way you seek help – gives you access to them – so in actuality – you are relying upon Spiritual help in normal times – however – when fear becomes activated, ie in a situation like this CV situation – you then have this inner panic and you begin to rely on your will – and you don’t have the access to the free-flowing amazing information that you usually get – and then you end up doing things that backfire or don’t work and that increases your panic. This is shown in the self-will card being the first card I pulled when I asked what you needed to know – You are relying on self-will which is a very limited source of power.
Self-will is actually supposed to serve under the spiritual guidance- one can use one’s self-will after one has prayed and received the guidance, then one can use it – and it works – but you, under normal conditions, just believe you are using self-will all the time – however you are not – because you are relaxed and you have a way of doing things that you have learned from childhood and it is a reverent sort of reliance which actually, as I said before is Spiritual Guidance.
In order to avoid switching over to little limited self-will in the future is going to require that you take a chance and have Courage. You are probably going to feel like you are weak – just because all this time your Ego has been taking credit for the amazing things your Guidance has been coming up with. That is very scary to recognize for some people because it forces you to recognize the Ego for what it is – simply a biased reporter of information, that likes to take credit for everything, but inside it feels like it’s you, but it isn’t – it’s your “actor”.
This is what is known as an Ego-death, the autumn-endings card. The ego does not actually die completely, it is instead, just reduced and put in it’s proper place – in service of the Spiritual.
But this ending of false ideas will really lead you to so much more – because the Ego, under the guise of your Guidance, has been keeping you safe from things you desire most – as well – Love and Community.
I am going to recommend beginning with Prayer and Meditation – simple and easy -
simple but not easy – a price has to be paid – it means the destruction of self-centeredness. Perhaps you are already meditating – and if that is the case – just do Prayer.
Of course, you will have to surrender to do this – which is where that Chance card and the Courage Card come in to this whole scenario – but the great thing about it is that you can go as slowly as you like and simply just observe the miracles – and then – it’s just so amazing that why would not anybody do it? And do it for everything… life just becomes so much easier.
**Direction for Meditation and Prayer**
The solution is that you let God/The Creator/Spirit (whatever you want to call it) be the Director of your life, then things will go much better for you, because you will always know what to do when you have an ending and come to a crossroads because you will be guided by a Power greater than you that has your best interest in mind for the Highest Good of all concerned.
A good place to start would be MEDITATION and PRAYER. Start with a few minutes of silent meditation in the morning and at night - and increase it as you can. You can count backward from 25 and try to see the numbers in your head- this will block other thoughts from coming in. The purpose of meditation is to get out of the ego self and into the observer self so that you are no longer attached to ideas that you believe are real… and you can get into the silence - this does take practice. Yoga can
help with this as well. Breathing into your stuck points in your body while doing a stretch can help you find mental silence.
Prayer on the other hand is for throughout the day - and it requires practice to become a working part of your life - Asking at each point when you set out to do something - what is God's Will in this situation?
Pausing and waiting and then looking for the answer in signs or intuition, chance meetings or things that come from outside you to start with ... You can do this with minutia as well as big decisions. Practice at the grocery store when standing in front of the bread isle – there are so many choices - God, what kind of bread should I buy? and then pause and wait to see which bread seems right. It takes practice. The finite mind is not going to want to give up it's status as the ruler - so it might be confusing and frustrating but the more you practice the more it will become a working part of the mind...
Even making mistakes shows you are trying and you will get great rewards
from that -
Acknowledging these miracles - by writing them down - makes them more and more believable - not something to be brushed off as "coincidence" - or not even noticed -
In addition to Prayer and Meditation, living by Natural Law Principles – basically –
The Golden Rule – Treat others how you want to be treated - and what the Kybalion talks about – As Above, so below. The Law of Cause and effect – etc – look into it.
And anything in the past that needs to be cleaned up, clean it up – apologies – and debts owed – mainly to individuals – to keep your channel open to the Power.
I am going to make you a talisman – just because most people I have been working with lately have not been doing the talisman part of this equation – and therefore missing the whole boat – however if you want a different one – I will gladly make you a different one.
