I think mentorship spans across varied fields.

I am ever grateful to my mentor on #hive for bringing me here.

I also call my undergraduate supervisors mentors to a certain degree. I learnt few things from them about #life & academics.

I also have mentors in #music, and they helped me improve my perception, knowledge and skills. 

However, I am not easily swayed by their dictates, or hell bent on being like them.

I draw on some of their good attributes and build on them.

It all depends if mentor and mentee are able to maintain healthy professional relationship. I had a mentor who was professional yet connecting with me at personal level. That was best.
