So let's continue my sketching story. At the moment, of course, I have one finished portrait that I could show, but in my opinion it did not turn out very well, so I doubt it (and, of course, I will show it anyway in the end). Just later :)

Yesterday I painted nude again, and this time I came across an older model. I love to draw people who already have age-related changes, firstly, it is anatomically very beautiful, and secondly, if they are thin, you can clearly see what is located and where, you don’t have to guess, for example, the exact location of the neck muscles and you can easily mark on your drawing.

I do not only sketches of nudes, but also portraits, it is very convenient to do it on Crocus Cafe, YouTube channel. It's a pity that for several years now they have not released new videos due to changes in the content policy on YouTube. I don’t understand to whom and what harm was done by such useful practical exercises for artists.

Also yesterday I started studying in two new courses, the human anatomy courses by Lev Kaplan are just great, I am very glad that I bought them. The only thing I really, really regret is the courses without the support of a teacher, so there is no one to check me, but fortunately I have drawing friends who can always be asked to give feedback.

All this I do in preparation for the creation of the comic. There is a lot to be understood and studied.
