<p>Just an idea that came to me this evening. I don't have a really wide circle of people whom I follow, but... Anyway it's over 300 accounts. And it made me thinking: <em>how cool it would be to have a possibility to structure them somehow?</em></p>

<p>For example I follow people who create content on such themes:&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
  <li><strong>art</strong></li>
  <li><strong>nature</strong></li>
  <li><strong>animals</strong></li>
  <li><strong>photography</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>No exactly my list, just for example. And I open my "home" tab, look through it, and search for the content I need at this very moment. From particular people I know that they do awesome. If I press on the tag I got redirected to the trending page, which is also fine, but we all know that not always, really not always (sometimes never) some well deserved authors make the trending. So I want to search the tag among my following list.</p>
<p>Or another situation. For example I have a list of people who's blogs I visit every day. For different reasons: because we're friends, or because I know that every day this person creates something really awesome, or because I know that I always will find there something useful for me. So I do it manually, meaning that I go to the address bar and change there my nickname to the nickname of the person whose blog I would like to visit. It's about 10-15 persons whom I really check out every day, not with scrolling my "home" tab, but going directly to their blogs.</p>

<p>So just a little idea. It already exists on some other social medias, and it seems to me that we really lacks us here. Some structure for the "Follow" list.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Same thought about the posts, by the way, tagging doesn't solve all the difficulties with searching related content. But once I already wrote about it:) &nbsp;</p>

Sounds useful to have a way to have your followers more diversified on specific tags/topics. Really would like to be able to have a different tab for resteems as well.

Yes I completely agree some kind on timeline like other social media sites have should be implemented on steemit also so content of followers can easily be seen.

Thank you @inber for bringing this topic. It is true that in Steemit it is kind of Pain in the .ss to find what you are looking for. Even in the following feeds it is a mess especially if you are following a lot of peoples. It is a very good idea to organize the feed section by tags. Also for the newcomers, it is kind of hard for them to get their head around Steemit how to find what they're looking for. So if the dev team is listening there is many things to do to get a better organization of the platform. Thanks for your post.

It would be great if Steemit would add something on our own blog page that would have a list of our favorite people we follow. That would be awesome. I guess if everyone did that though, it would hurt the new ones starting out. You could always start your own community with a tag just for that and anyone that wanted to post in it or see others posts could click on that tag.

That is exactly what we need. Also how about a way to broadcast a live video? I feel like there is no one really working on improving this platform. I hope I am wrong but it just hasn't changed much since I started and it needs to.

I agree, the YouTube thing is annoying. And I know I've only been here for a few months but steemit is still in beta. It's been in beta for aver a year from what I understand. Don't get me wrong I love the platform, I just feel the people running the show are not too into it. The only. Noticeable change since I've started is you can now change the picture in your blog header. This is purely cosmetic and kinda useless. To me it just makes it more like Twitter. Anyways thanks again for your post, it's good to keep this discussion going. I'm not a developer but maybe one of then is listening?
