Hello all you game lovers, I have produced a lot of TFT content so far. I can say that half of my blog is full of TFT and LoL content, but I realized that something is missing. There is no detailed guide and explanation of what Teamfight Tactics a.k.a. TFT is on my blog. TFT, there is no detailed guide and explanation of what TFT is. So today I'm going to tell you what TFT is and how to play it, I hope you like it. If you have any questions about the game, please don't forget to ask me in the comments section. I thought of preparing this post after @dangab asked me in my last TFT post. Thanks to him for the idea. Also I changed the language of the game to English, so that many of you can understand everything more easily.

The wolf you see on the screen right now and the one I'm moving is a little legend. They are also called tacticians. You can think of them as your avatar in your game. Lux on the bottom left is a champion. You place them on one of the squares on your board and they fight for you. You cannot control their abilities. Their mana is filled as they attack or take damage, and they use their abilities. They all have their own unique mechanics. The only thing you can control is where you place them on your board and the items you give them.

This screen is an augment selection screen. As you can already see above, it asks you to choose an augment. These augments were added to the game in this set. These champion-specific augments are all very different from each other. One of them gives your team a critical attack chance. Another one gives 20% attack speed and the last one allows Leblanc to make a copy of the nearest champion. I chose Leblanc, something I've never tried before. I think this augment will be very powerful in the early game. You should choose these augments according to your team. What do you want to play, ability power champions or attack damage champions? Do you believe that champion will be a carrier, then pick for that.

Look where my mouse cursor is. Let me tell you about the levels. Your level tells you how many champions you can put on your board. If you are level 5, you can put 5 champions on your board. Of course you can also put 4 champions, but no more than 5. The level mechanic works like this; you need a certain amount of experience points to advance to each level. Every round you automatically get 2 experience points or you can buy 4 experience points for 4 gold.

Please look at my mouse cursor again. That's your store. Every round 5 champions appear in your store. Every turn these 5 champions change unless you lock your store. Or you can renew your shop for 2 gold.  The probability of seeing these champions depends on your level. For example, at level 5 you have a 45% chance of seeing a champion worth 1 gold. That is very likely, but at level 8 it is 16%. So it decreases considerably. The higher your level, the more likely you are to see more valuable champions. Of course, leveling up also depends on your strategy. Some players try to reach level 8 quickly, while others finish the game at level 5 or 6. It depends on the composition.

Focus on the cursor again haha. I hope this is not annoying because I need to do this to explain something in my post. This is where your gold and your "total possible income" is shown. There is an interest system in the game. For every 10 gold you have you earn 1 interest and this is shown in the bar to the left of your board. You can also see the estimated gold of your opponents. As you can see, my bars are all empty, which means I am in the 0-9 gold range. My opponent has 1 bar full. So I can see that he is in the 10-19 gold range. You can accumulate unlimited gold but the interest is limited to 5. Therefore, 50 gold is optimal to accumulate. More than that will not give you any return.

Everything you see is a platform that you will see at the beginning of the game and then every 5-6 rounds. We call it a carousel. Other people call it shared draft. At the beginning of the game everyone opens at the same time and tries to pick a champion, but for every other selection people open two by two in order. So the two people with the lowest HP go first and pick the champions/items they want. The rationale for this is obvious, to allow players who are in trouble to get back in the game. Sometimes you can lose strategically to get the item you want. I have practiced this myself many times and I have seen many people doing it.

If you click on a champion, you can see the traits that champion has. For example, Cemille has A.D.M.I.N and Renegade. Each champion has different traits. You should build your composition by combining the common traits of these champions. As you can see, I have 4 traits active on the left side. All these traits are unique and strengthen the team or the champions that have them.

Please pay attention to my cursor again, when you click on the top right corner of the screen you can see the damage dealt, the damage blocked and the healing done by your champions. The importance of this part is that if a champion is not doing anything, it might mean that you are using the wrong champion. Or if a champion is doing pretty good damage, it means that you've given them the right items and you're using them with the right traits.

What is the meta? Let's talk a little bit about that. Meta is when some compositions are stronger than others in TFT. How to understand Meta. If you think you are very strong in the game and yet your opponent comes and destroys you, then you are playing against a meta composition. Or if 3-4 people are trying to play a composition in a game, that composition is being played because it is too strong. That's the same thing as meta. Right now in the game, the Yuumi composition is a meta composition because it's extremely powerful and there's not much you can do against it. In such situations you can also play the meta composition because usually there is not 1 strong composition, there are several. Or you can try different things and try to have fun and wait for it to balance out. The game gets a patch every two weeks.

Champions have a star level. If you only have one of a champion, it means it is a star. If you find 3 of this champion, you can make that champion 2 stars. If you have 3 2-star versions of a champion then your champion becomes a 3-star. So numerically you need 9 copies of a champion to make it 3 stars. The higher the star level of your champions, the higher the health and damage of their abilities. So the higher the star level the better. However, for some champions, there is not much difference between 2 stars and 3 stars. Searching for them and making them 3 stars is just a waste of gold. Be careful where you spend your gold!

I finished 4th in this game. In normal games it doesn't matter where you finish, but if you are playing a ranked game, finishing in the top 4 will earn you points and finishing in the bottom 4 will lose you points. So you have to be careful when making your decisions in the final stages. The 8th place loses the most points, so try not to finish last.
