Maravilloso y bendecido día, me alegra compartir nuevamente con ustedes, en esta oportunidad les traigo una receta de unas arepas de brócoli con avena y ajonjolí estas arepas son nutritivas  ya que para su preparación utilicé brócoli que es un vegetal rico en vitaminas y minerales y junto a los beneficios que también nos aporta la avena y el ajonjoli hace de estas arepas una opción saludable, aquí les muestro el paso a paso.

- 1 brócoli pequeño 
- 1 taza de avena
- 1/2 taza de harina de maíz 
- 1 cucharada de ajonjolí
- sal al gusto.

>- 1 small broccoli 
>- 1 cup oatmeal
>- 1/2 cup cornmeal 
>- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
>- salt to taste.

Para preparar estas arepas lo primero que hacemos es lavar y desinfectar bien el brócoli con vinagre lo cortamos y lo ponemos a cocinar al vapor por aproximadamente 5 minutos ó más dejamos enfriar los picamos con un procesador de alimentos, también pueden aplastarlo con un tenedor reservamos, en un bol colocamos tres cuarta taza de agua y ponemos a remojar la avena por unos minutos.

Agregamos el brócoli picado junto a la avena, colocamos la sal, la harina y el ajonjolí mezclamos y vamos amasando hasta que se integren bien los ingredientes y formar una mezcla homogénea.

Nos colocamos aceite en la mano  tomamos porciones de la masa y vamos formando bolitas le damos forma redonda la colocamos en un budare caliente ligeramente engrasado y ponemos a cocinar las arepas y las doramos por ambos lados.

Para acompañar estas arepas preparé una ensalada rápida  colocando en un bol un tomate, 1/2 cebolla y 1/2 aguacate picados en cubos,  le agregamos un chorrito de limón para que no se oxide el aguacate  y aderezamos con cilantro picadito, sal y aceite de oliva mezclamos y listo.

>To accompany these arepas I prepared a quick salad by placing in a bowl a tomato, 1/2 onion and 1/2 avocado chopped into cubes, add a squeeze of lemon to prevent the avocado from oxidizing and season with chopped cilantro, salt and olive oil, mix and ready.
