I'm completely satisfied with Streemian's functionality.  No complaints whatsoever.

Having said that, I'm not happy with the idea that what I've been voting for isn't really me.  So I've ended my use of curation trails for the time being.  I might re-enable it for certain "sure things" eventually, but I'll revisit that later.

The thing is, I like the idea of votes being my own.  I like the idea of being able to look back into the blockchain and know everything I voted for was my own decision.  So I'm starting that today.  If I ever run a report from 2017 on, hopefully, every vote I see will be something I'm proud of.

Yeah, it's been pretty good for the most part.  The really good part is, we've seen what might happen when on-chain curation guilds come online.  It might not be a mess right now (though some people say it is already), but with on-chain curation guilds, any negative effects might be amplified.

That was a perspective I did not think of. It is interesting to see it turn out like this so far. One thing good to see is that it seems the community has the platform in good interest and when a hint of some type of abuse  appears, actions are taken.

I went to join Streemian yesterday, but it wanted some SBD to verify my identity.  I'd powered up all my steem  and sold all my SBD for steem.  I wish I'd known I might need SBD.  I wouldn't have sold it! :-)

Anyway, I'll wait for some author rewards to payout in SBD in the future.

For now I'm using Steemvoter.  I only starting exploring bot strategies last week, so I'm keen to try them all.  I had a crack at compiling a bot of my own.  I ended up dependency hell and constantly failing compilation attempts.  I don't need that headache atm.  I'm already dealing with a 5 different bitcoin wallets, ethereum wallet, monero wallet, snowed under with paper wallets.  Was cryptocurrency supposed to be so cumbersome? :-D

Yeah.  That is the software I've had the issues with compiling.  Couldn't get it to compile on Linux Mint LTS.  I think I even tried compiling it on a digital ocean droplet so it would be always on, but still no luck with compiling it.
