<center><h6>As you might notice I was quite inactive the last weeks with my translations for Utopian.io. This was due to the fact that I was very busy with really big exams at university. All the more I'm happy to announce that I will be active again with Node.js translations and you can expect me to publish regular translations again on my blog. <h3>Project Details</h3>
<p>Node.js was originally invented by Ryan Dhal in the year 2009 and is a cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment. It is considered to be one of the most used JavaScript frameworks across the industry. It is actually quite impressive, how many companies using the framework already. Some of them are: LinkedIn, Netflix, Uber, Paypal and many more to come.</p>
<p>Node.js can be found on <a href="https://crowdin.com/project/nodejs" rel="noopener" title="This link will take you away from steemit.com">Crowdin</a> and on <a href="https://github.com/nodejs/i18n" rel="noopener" title="This link will take you away from steemit.com">Github</a>  too.</p>
<h3>Contribution Specifications</h3>
<p>For Node.js there are about 1 million words to be translated within the whole project. On Crowdin there are a lot of categories to be translated. I chose to work at the category n-api.md - which contains exactly 16.109 words. At the moment I don't really know how much code there will be and how many articles I will write about n-api.md. However, this is the second article regarding 'n-api.md' in Node.js.</p>
<p>N-API stands for next generation APIs and was developed for native addons. N-API is intendend to be an important milestone for Node.js to achieve full ABI stability.</p>
<h5>Languages</h5>
<p>The original text was written in English and I've translated it into German.</p>
<h5>Word Count</h5>
<p>From the heading <strong>Object Lifetime management</strong> to the heading, including the first paragraph of <strong>References to objects with a lifespan longer than that of the native method</strong>, Microsoft Word counted 883 words in total, without code and strings. However, the word count in Word including code and strings differ from the word count in Crowdin of about 30 words.</p>
