<h3>Project Details</h3>
<p>Node.js was originally invented by Ryan Dhal in 2009 and is a cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment. It is considered to be one of the most used JavaScript frameworks across the industry. It is actually quite impressive, how many companies are using the framework already. Some of them are: LinkedIn, Netflix, Uber, Paypal and many more.</p>
<p>Node.js can be found on <a href="https://crowdin.com/project/nodejs" rel="noopener" title="This link will take you away from steemit.com">Crowdin</a> and on <a href="https://github.com/nodejs/i18n" rel="noopener" title="This link will take you away from steemit.com">Github</a>  too.</p>
<h3>Contribution Specifications</h3>
<p>In the Node.js project there are about 1 million words to be translated. This amount is divided into several subcategories. I chose to work at the category n-api.md - which contains exactly 16.109 words. I have already done several translations and this is my thirteenth one in n-api.md</p>
<p>N-API stands for next generation APIs and was developed for native addons. N-API is intendend to be an important milestone for Node.js to achieve full ABI stability.</p>

<p>I didn't encounter any major difficulties in my translation work for this contribution.</p>

<p>The original text was written in English and I've translated it into German.</p>
<h5>Word Count</h5>
<p>From 13.01.19 to 14.01.19, Crowdin counted 1099 words in total within n-api.md, without code and strings. However, the word count in Microsoft Word may differ slightly from the word count in Crowdin.</p>
