Hello Steemians ✌ Introducing our website inflación.com and our plans for Steemit integration! 🌍🚀🌑

Hey Steemians!

We started the website [inflación.com](https://inflación.com) with the aim to shine a light on everyday economics, investments and provide accurate inflation data, particularly in Latin America. We are a team of people working remotely from different countries with the content (currently) only in Spanish.

After doing in depth research we've decided to make Steemit a central part of how we engage with our readers. At the end of each post on inflación.com, we'll post a link to a dedicated blog post on Steemit where users can discuss the issues.

## Why do we want to integrate with Steemit?
- Many Steemit users are from Spanish speaking countries like Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia.
- Other social media sites are very-crowded, filled with bots or cutting down on organic reach in place of paid reach.
- Many Steemit members have an interest in finance, economics & inflation
- We can maintain the site via upvotes from interested readers, rather than affiliate marketing, intrusive ads etc.
- Steemit and cryptocurrency in general are fascinating and great to get more closely involved and make it tangible for our readers.

## Future Steps
- In the short term we will start to post excerpts of articles from our site onto Steemit, and then link to these from the blog itself
- In the medium/ long term we hope to find a way to allow commenting using a Steemit account directly on our blog, perhaps through a [wordpress comments plugin](https://steemit.com/steemit/@somebody/developing-a-wordpress-plugin-to-integrate-steem) or similar. Also looking closely at [how Chainbb progresses](https://steemit.com/chainbb/@cryptoctopus/chainbb-a-review-of-what-may-become-way-bigger-than-steemit-com) to see what that offers.
