Introduction
As a matter of concern, there are parts of the computer we can see touch and carry about which is also known as hardware part. There are also sub groups of hardware in which is needed  for the operation of computer as a whole.

As a matter of fact, there are three basic components of the computer. Those three components includes, hardware, software and people ware which will be discussed in the course of this guide.

This guide will present the computer hardware groups available and Thier importance or contribution to the computer as a whole.

What is a computer Hardware?
A computer hardware is the hard part of the computer that can be seen, touched and carried about. It works hand in hand with the software and also the userware.

Computer hardware groups

The following are groups of hardware components in the computer. They are;

-Input device

-Output device
-Processing device 
-Storage device
-Communication device.

Input device
Input device are those device that can be used to send data into the computer. Examples of input device are; mouse , keyboard, light pen and joystick.

Data is entered to the computer via the input unit. The input unit with the aid of input device helps to take in data to the computer.

Output device
Output device are those devices that can be used to view the results of processed data. Examples of output device are monitor, projector,  and speakers.


 With the output device, you will be able to view the result of the inputed data which is also classified as  information. It is easily viewed using the output device.

Processing device
Processing device such as the system unit helps to process the input the computer was given alongside with the command to carry out task.

Example of processing device is the system unit. The system unit is the mains of the computer.

Storage device
Storage device are device used to store information such as resources, files or folders. There are two types of storage which are temporary and permanent storage.

Example of storage device include hardisk, CDrom, RAM, cache.

Communication device
Communication device are those device that can be used to communicate over the internet with other users of the computer.

Examples of those devices includes a modem, wifi.

Input device carries in data to the computer with the aid of input device. The data is then been processed and understood by the system. The processed data is also stored according to the user wish. The data can aswell be displayed on the screen with the aid of output device. In a bid to foster the communication process between systems, a communication device is used.
