“I drink to dilute the delusions around my eyes and at the same time, I hope to witness an alternate form of reality that my sober eyes can’t see.”

“No, I don’t inject alcohol into my bloodstream to merely improve the whole experience of my melancholic state of mind , I do it to hear the music that lingers behind even after a song ends.”

“I do it to recreate her atoms around my body so that when I lift my hands in the air, I can actually feel her skin.”

“No, I no longer smoke though, because everytime I inhale the leaves, they remind me of falling in love again. And love? The chemistry inside my body no longer reacts to the elements of affection anymore.”

“Sure, I can talk to you for hours and look into your eyes with sympathy in my heart, but love? I doubt if the demons that I’m friends with, will allow me to give away my heart once again.”

“Yes, I’ve held some hands and kissed a few lips, but no one pours themselves into me and releases me from the trauma of my reality like a bottle of bacardi does.”

“So no, I don’t drink to dance my heart out when the beat on that Chainsmokers song is about to drop, I do it to share those tiny moments of solitude with myself and appreciate the stars hiding behind that pathetic layer of city smog.”!
