### Let's look at this from an outside the box perspective. How much faith should we have in blockchain technology?

#### To do that, we need to check a few things:

* Do multiple governments know about bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchains in general?
* Does mainstream media know about it too?
* Do large investors, with a lot of fiat currency at their disposal know about it too?

YES, YES, and YES?

#### Maybe bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchains are a stable concept.
..
* Let's look at more...

* Has there been bad media press about bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchains?
* Has government threatened regulation against bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchains?
* Is the establishment warning against bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchains?

YES, YES, and YES!

...maybe that's still not enough... Let's look further.

* Has Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchains gone to a $0 worth?
* Have developers abandoned development on blockchain projects?
* Has the whole cryptocurrency movement stopped? Liquidated, and died?

NO, NO, NO

### So what does that mean?

* Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, and Blockchain is weathering *ALL* STORMS

...which means...

Cryptocurrency ideologies, development, and future will continue to be stable.

Blockchains are and will continue to be stable.

Bitcoin continues to be stable. If not Bitcoin, something like Bitcoin will continue to be stable.

## BUT WHAT ABOUT ALL THE BAD PRESS ABOUT IT?

If you live your life based on what the media says, I only have one thing to tell you. The media only reports (or is told to report) what they are suppose to say...

...the fact that this technology is "that good" and actually brings accountability to the human race in a trustless manner that we've not seen in the last 300 years... shows us... that blockchain technology is not only important, but key to the way the human race can survive the next 300 years.

Long after you and I are both dead... there will be forms of blockchain and trustless technologies implemented into current social governance systems not because they opted to do that... It's the only way they can prove legitimacy going forward.

The internet brought us communication...

Blockchain technology brings us accountability...

The future will include both.

**No national jurisdiction or recognized country owns Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, or Blockchain technology. It was founded by an anonymous person or group called Satoshi Nakimoto with no geographic or national ties.**

The high seas and maritime law is what governs cryptocurrency, bitcoin, and blockchain technology.

**These are international waters, where everything is lawful because blockchain technology was not invented nor soley exists within the realm of territorial or internal rights of a particular state.**

Lets ignore that important fact for a moment.

VERY stable. All the bad news hasn't stopped it yet, and I bet more bad news isn't going to stop it anytime soon.

The world needs this...

Smart regulators in key positions realize it too...

This is the only invention in the last 300 years that could bring the world to trade, communicate, and exist on a level playing field. Where the truth is locked into a block on a blockchain. It becomes an immutable, trustless truth, open for audit and examination at any time, because it is a public ledger.

I'm excited for the human race, not only because it is getting what it needs, but because this idea cannot be stopped by anyone.

I think you have a point here and I kind of like the approach you invented to prove your points.  Well,  I feel crypto is stable in some sense but who needs the stability when your $5 investment can go as high as being worth $100. I think people invest in crypto not because they think it is stable but because they want to have high return on that little investment in some few weeks or so

You guys have been in this game way longer than myself, but for my short time.....I really find blockchains something revolutionary, and it sounds so much safer than many empty-bank-promises.

You early developers have seen already so many waves of trust come and go, and seen proven why all of these were overcome. I guess once you are in for a couple of years already, you are 100% on board. 

Im like 80% on board, but I still feel there are so many pitfalls that I am missing just because of lack of knowledge.*....gathers more info....*

I personally think that blockchain technology shall continue to evolve while the concept of cryptocurrencies shall mature. 

For as long as entities see the latter as a means of making a quick buck or otherwise conjuring wealth from nothing - the value of the former shall continue to be shrouded in uncertainty.

I think crypto currency is absolutely stable. Now look at it this way: the puddle is the cryptocurrency market, and the ocean is that of legal tender like the US dollar. This is a comparison we believe most media outlets tend to overlook: factors that make virtually no mark on the dollar might shake up a smaller digital currency. Fluctuations in value, major thefts, and other factors are going to look gigantic in comparison. These stories may look more impressive—and get more press—but ultimately we think it's a little irresponsible. And we believe jumping to the conclusion that digital currencies are “unstable”—after only five years of existence—is flat-out unrealistic.
