Bigg Mistake - A Bigg Boss S16 review

So all this began last Saturday during a show hosted by @pravesh0, 100 things were discussed and one of them happened to be Bigg boss. Now for those who don’t know what Big Boss is (Firstly, Stay blessed. You are living a better life.), it's a reality show where a bunch of people are locked inside a house for a period of time (months) and people watch them living their life. The format of the game is the same as the Big Brother game show.

Anyway, the point of discussion was I never watched it as a show. I watched maybe few shorts and few more youtube clips from the previous season. And had this opinion that this game show was garbage. And that's pre-judging, It's like writing a bad review for a restaurant without even trying it. This notion had me by my throat. I couldn’t sleep. I mean how can I dislike something that I never tried? This isn’t fair to me and the game show. I could barely sleep on Saturday night. So to put an end to this mental suffering I decided to watch Bigg Boss on Sunday.

The Episode that was being telecasted was S16E99. That's right Season 16 and episode 99. This thing already had 16season and I haven't seen a single full episode. 99 Episodes alone in this season, each spanning 90 to 120mins. So according to my calculation, 3-4 episodes are enough to catch up with this season. So I started on Sunday morning.

I had the opinion that this show was garbage and worthless. But after watching approximately 8hrs of the running season I realized how wrong I was. Before I proceed further I would like to thank @pravesh0, @bhattg, and @cathersis for getting my curiosity about the game. Without their support, I would have spent the Sunday cooking Gongura chicken and enjoying it with family. Instead, I was busy developing headaches because of this game show. At one point I questioned myself if this was a good way of spending Sunday.

Trust me when I say that I failed to see entertainment in this show. And I like watching people. What they do and how they do it. It is my fav thing to do whenever I am at the airport or train station. But somehow this show is missing that entertainment element. Don't take my word for it, but at one point the game master can be heard saying ‘Meine apni zindagi mein isse boring mela nahi dekha’ [Eng Trans. - I haven't seen such a boring fair in my life] while referring to the fair event in the game.

The show has a bunch of loud people who love their voices and are always talking. The show also has a couple of stupid people who fight without knowing the reason. The show also has a couple well kinda couple. The show features people giving advice to people, not to follow anybody's advice. The highlight of the show is this Bigg Boss family is always busy instigating one another. On top of that people are always crying and appealing that they are not doing this for the camera but it is their real selves.

Ok, So I am no sherlock but I deduce that this show has nothing to offer apart from people scheming and plotting and doing nothing. They live their lives and we watch them on TV. And I understand why people watch them, It is the same as why people watch other people's games on twitch or discord or any other channels.

All I can say is I didn't enjoy the slow torture and that my last two brain cells decided to go replicate the show in my head. And now my headache has a headache.

Now like any other bad thing it is spreading across the regions.
There is a Telugu version, Tamil version, Marathi Version, Malayalam version. You name it and probably some version of this will be available there.

Like I said before, the first few seasons were much better than now. People just fight for the cameras now. It's not their fault too, the format is like that only... the team has to fit 24 hours into 1 hour and only the loudest moments is shown. Not worth it.

Even I also don't like the show. 
Total rubbish. 
I regret that I spent time in past - even 1 or 2 episode - it's a waste of time.
