NEED GENKAI???
“Hey!!! Wake Up?” inuke tried to wake me up. 
“Hmmm.” I wasn't ready to wake up yet. 
“Dude!!! Wake Up, Wake Up, Wake Up, You got to wake up.” inuke wasn't going away. And he was very loud. 
“Huh!! Hmm.” That is all I could respond with. Hoping that this nuisance would go away on its own. 
“Listen up dude!! You've got to wake up. It is important.” inuke was still at it. And he did succeed in getting me up.
“WHAT IS IT???? YOU… YOU… MANIAC..WHAT IS SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAVE TO WAKE ME UP AT….” I looked at the clock to check. “ITS 03…”
“Yeah, I know it's 3. But this is important. I have an Idea. And this concept is going to change our lives.”
“Awesome, hold that thought. I will take a quick nap and will discuss this after 5 hours. Good Night.” I tried escaping him.
“No... No.. No… Get up, We have to discuss.”
“No. We have to sleep.” 
“Come on man. This is important. At least write it somewhere. So that we remember.” inuke asked. 
I scribble the thought on the notepad near my bed. Recently I started keeping the notepad near my bed and work area.
“Done. No shooo.” I went back to my slumber.

### NEXT DAY MORNING.
“Hey, inuke..!!! I need your help.” I called out inuke.
“What is it?” inuke popped into the world.
“You are a genius to have found such a brilliant Idea, I underestimated you.” I showed him the notepad. “Need Genkai” was scribbled on it. 
“What does Genkai mean?” Inuke asked. 
“You tell me genius. You are the one who woke me up in the middle of the Night and had me writing this nonsense.” I snapped at him, remembering how annoying he was the previous night.
Inuke was staring at the Notepad and mumbling the word Genkai.
“I think its Japanese.” inuke replied. 
“Oye Einstein!!! I have checked on the internet. Its a Japanese word meaning Limit. But Need Limit on what? Please elaborate?” I asked inuke.
“I don’t know, maybe at your expense, food habits, screentime. You know all the good stuff.”
“You!! Dumb fu**er, What does Need Genkai mean?” I lashed at him.
“I am not sure. I too am confused.”
We both were looking at the Notepad.

“Ok let's try again. You woke me up by saying this concept will change our lives. I don't see needing Limit as a concept. Maybe it's not Genkai, but some similar-sounding word.” I gave inuke some boost hoping that it would jumpstart his brain. 
“Hmmm, Similar sounding words.. Hentai???” Inukes rotten brain spat this out. 
“And how exactly the Japanese art of anime porn will change our lives?” I questioned inuke’s sanity. 
“I don't know bro. You are always dull, unhappy, uninspired, tried, Maybe little animated action you need.” inuke with his nonfriendly comments.
“Aye!! Dimaag mat chat mera..” [F** Off]

“I don't remember Yaar!!! It could be Genkai, Hentai, Hakkai, or a million other kais from the Japanese language.” inuke seemed to be a little frustration as he is unable to remember the term.
“Ok! What is this concept about?” I asked, knowing that there is no way of guess the correct word. 
“I don't clearly remember. But it has something to do with self-love.” inuke replied.
“That’s vague. What else?”
“Something to do with finding the purpose of life.” inuke replied. 
“That's just another vague thing. Wait Hold on.” 
I started typing on Google to check for the concepts that align with these two things that inuke told me just now. 
“Ikigai???” I asked.. 
“Haan !! Haan !! That’s the one. Yes, that’s the one..” inuke started jumping in excitement.

Hey Folks,
There is this concept of the Ikigai in Japan, that is very interesting. We, I mean I just started on this and it is too early to review the concept and to comment on its effectiveness. But if you or anyone you know has gone through it. Please do let me know. I know @whatamidoing san is one person from Japan. 

So, I am back to the student mode. And I am approaching everything with a learning attitude. THis is my new year's resolution. And One more resolution is to post more frequently. I mean what kind or writer writes only 20 times a year? LOL!!
So, Yeah. You can expect more posts from me and inuke. Cheers..

Ikigai is largely an English concept 🙃 in Japanese ikigai just means “something you like a lot, or wanna do” no deep meaning.  The rest of the world being brainwashed that everything in Japan is deep and philosophical 🙃 

But it’s still a nice concept. 

I need Genkai hahahaha sounds like you’ve been going overboard hahaha

So you mean to say, it is just a word and people took it to a different level. This is news to me. I heard so many people talk about Ikigai that I thought it was some kind of subject that kids have to clear during their elementary schooling.
People sure love to create concepts, I guess. 😂😂😂
BTW, have you ever met someone who claims to be a work of Ikigai?

I've going overboard, underboard and around the board but it feels like I am not going anywhere.
