“Annnnnnd Done”. 
I said to myself and was about to close the laptop. After spending 2hrs trying to figure out why my balance is below the threshold this month.
“What you doing?” the annoying voice of inuke popped in. 
I pressed the ESC button to abort the shutdown and pointed at the Excel sheet labelled expenses on my desktop. 
“Ah!! So you were playing **WHERE IS MY MONEY** all by yourself.” Inuke air quoted. 
“Bruh. Listen I am not happy so just let me go and sleep. It's already midnight. Not in the mood for your games.” I tried to escape him. 
“Come On!! It won't take much time. Let's go through the list and find out what is putting you off.”
“Don't need Excel for that. It is YOU. Now let me go and have my usual nightmares.” I replied.

Inuke got in the chair and opened the Excel. 
“Hmm!! This is bad.” inuke replied after seeing the summary and numbers.
“Yeah!! It is.” I agreed. “The utility bills and the Rent alone took 25% of my earnings and this month's Investment was Nil. And to add to this financial injury 5Days are still left in the calendar.  And I am already below my threshold. And the banks gonna charge me extra 300 for low balance.”
“No!! No!! I mean, you should use ‘*Trebuchet MS*’ fonts, *Times New Roman* doesn't have that appeal.” inuke put forth his concern.
“Oh!! So the font is the reason why my account has sent a low balance message aah!!” I replied almost popping a vein in my forehead. 
“O No!! No!! I mean you can just format your poor financial decisions a little better this way, Is what I am trying to say.” inuke countered my sarcasm with his. 
“Listen if you do not have anything of value to add, just shut up and go away. I can rework this and save something.” I informed him of my resolve to identify and save more. 
“Ah!! By rework, if you mean to cut the internet and electricity, Be my guest.” Inuke replied. 
“I will If I have to.” I stood strong by myself. 

“Hey!! Have you ever thought that the best way of saving is earning more?” Inuke asked me. 
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“Let me dumb it down for you. Is there something stopping you from earning more?” Inuke asked with a condescending attitude. 
“Yes. Time limit, Energy limit, Knowledge, Taxes, Commitments, Physical limitations, I can list 100 reasons. What do you mean?” 
“Let me dumb it down more for you. Is there a limit to your earnings? Say, you can earn only 50K in a month and are not allowed to earn more than that?” Inuke continued with his tone.
“Umm. No. But..” 
“Ayeh Ayeh Ayeh,  It was a simple Yes - No question.” Inuke stopped me before I could tell him why it was not possible. 
“If there is No limit, that means ‘It is possible’ to earn more. Correct.” Inuke asked. 
“It is not that easy,” I replied to inuke.
“Abey Yaar!!! When did I ever say it was going to be easy? It is not going to be easy. You can have 100 reasons or hurdles. If something is possible, that means there is a way to get to it. You just have to find that way. And follow that to the goal.” Inuke answered.

“Wow!! You know sometimes you surprise me. I never thought it that way.” I replied. 
“Of course, We were conditioned to adjust to things in life. We don’t have to in many cases. I know by searching you might find a place with cheaper rent, in a far-off galaxy where you will spend years travelling to and from the office. You may save 5% by sacrificing your time at home. Think about that. Is that sacrifice worth the 5% and the pain?” Finally inuke added some value to the issue. 
“Actually I was considering that. But I don’t think it's worth the sacrifice.” I replied ignoring the taunt. 
Shutting down the laptop I got up to put it back in the cupboard. Needed to get some sleep. 
“Good Night, Bro” Inuke wished me.
I paused for a moment. 
“Hey inuke, You have no idea how to do any of that unlimited earnings. right?” I asked, knowing the answer. 
“Not a clue, Bro,” Inuke confirmed what I already knew. 
“Thought so. Good Night.” I let a sigh out.

Hello Everyone, 
I am back with another one of the posts which I think qualifies as the financial educational thing category. I really don't know what this is, I am just learning new things from Hive and my friends online. Learning is fun. I want to start slow before I go into the deep waters of the stock market that's why I am learning the basics like money and expenses and stuff like that. The technical definition is boring so I am skipping most of it. And putting out what I learned. Hope that you find it interesting and please do share your financial understanding too. would love to learn a thing or two from you too.
