<p>Many have read that the German government urged citizens to stockpile food for ten days and clean drinking water for five days. I have cross checked the indications from the German government with the World Health Organization guide on<strong> “How to cope with weapons of mass destruction”</strong> and I came to the conclusion that German government wants to prepare its population against a chemical attack. </p>

<p>I believe that neither Russia, nor Turkey nor any other sovereign state would attack Germany with non-conventional weapons such as biological, chemical or dirty bombs, so German warnings are related to ISIS terrorism.</p>
<p><strong>Why I believe that a chemical attack is what German fears most? In one word: Water. </strong></p>
<p>In the indications leaked to the German press on the Frankfurter Allgemeine, the government is saying that: "citizens should keep two liters of drinking water per person per day." If we review the guidelines from the WHO on defenses from different types of attacks we see:</p>
<p><strong>Bioligocal attack </strong></p>
<p>According to the WHO it would be extremely difficult for a terrorist to contaminate water supplies to cause widespread illnesses. </p>
<p><strong>Radioactive attack </strong></p>
<p>Although introducing radioactive material into the food or water supply would cause great concern, it probably would not cause much contamination or increase the danger of adverse health effects. </p>
<p><strong>Chemical attack </strong></p>
<p>One can live only a few days without water, so it is very important to create an emergency supply of safe water. One gallon of safe water per person per day is the bare minimum for survival. </p>
<p><strong>Yes!</strong></p>
<p>Just in line with the recommendations of the German Government.</p>
<p>But which chemicals would be used by ISIS in such an attack?</p>
<p>Reviewing the history of chemical attacks in Iraq during the second Iraq War conducted by the US, I found a Wikipedia entry describing the chemicals used by US troops during the Fallujah siege and <strong>white phosphorous allegedly has been used during the Fallujah attacks</strong>, and the attacks must have resigned in the memory of ISIS caliph, who originates from a small town near Fallujah.</p>
<p>May my predictions be as absurd as they sound and may nobody ever try to use chemical weapons against civilians of any country, be that Germany, Iraq or elsewhere.</p>
