Hello everyone! I sometimes have the opportunity to travel between the hectic days and I try to share them on Hive as much as I can.

One of them is from two days ago, I went to Buyukcekmece Beach for the first time. My boyfriend and I went to Buyukcekmece Beach by public transportation. It is possible to walk to the beach on the roads behind the shopping mall called **Atirus** on the road in Buyukcekmece. So that's what we did. It was a day we wanted to walk despite the cold weather. So we put on our thick coats and went out like that. We met in front of Atirus and walked to the beach. The beach was quite long, we also walked along the beach. 

As we were walking towards the beach, a statue caught my attention. There were a lot of airplane models around, although I didn't know exactly why, so I zoomed in and shot them.

There was a huge Turkish flag next to the statue, waving gently in the sky ❤️

While I was shooting the airplane models, a family and their children approached the statue. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, was in the foreground and there were two other people next to him. Frankly speaking, I couldn't find out who they were in the short research I did, but I guessed that one of them could be Sabiha Gökçen, the first Turkish woman pilot.

There was a building next to the statue.

This must be a military building or military housing. The place where I took the photo is a square, a statue, two models of airplanes and the concrete stair blocks you can see in the photo, which are used as seating. During official ceremonies, flowers and wreaths are left on Atatürk's statues and this must be a place where such ceremonies take place. They arranged the area in this way for the crowd to sit.

Also Buyukcekmece Municipality building was just nearby.

This is how I shot from a distance. We left here and headed towards the coast and after a few minutes we passed through the gates of KIYI ISTANBUL MARINA and since we had been to this place before, we walked through this place and walked towards the beach.

This place is also a beautiful place but I only took photos of this place.

The sea was very clear and the water depth was shallow. We walked along the shore and at one point we came across a restaurant in the middle of the sea.

It looks majestic but it was an alcoholic restaurant and we didn't want to go in the morning maybe another day :)

This is a view of the place from a distance. It's quite a big place in the middle of the sea, I was very intrigued.

We walked all the way to the end of the beach and many cafes-restaurants were on our left and the sea on our right. We walked so long that we got tired and rested on the benches on the beach.

When I looked carefully from this end where we had walked, you can see in the photo, the big flag we had seen before we went to the beach. When we were tired and cold we went back and went to a cafe we liked.

Herkese merhaba! Koşturmacalı geçen günler arasında bazen gezmeye fırsatım oluyor ve yine bunları fırsat buldukça Hive' da paylaşmaya çalışıyorum.

Bunlardan biri iki gün öncesine ait, ilk kez Büyükçekmece Sahiline gittim. Büyükçekmece sahiline sevgilim ve ben toplu taşıma ile gittik.  Büyükçekmece'de yol üzerinde **Atirus** adındaki avm'nin arkasında kalan yollarla sahile yürüyerek gitmek mümkün. Biz de öyle yaptık. Soğuk havaya rağmen yürümek istediğimiz bir gündü. Bizde kalın montlarımızı giyip dışarı öyle çıktık. Atirus'un önünde buluşup sahile yürüdük. Sahilde epey uzunmuş, sahil boyunca da yürüyüş yaptık. 

Sahile  doğru ilerlerken bir heykel dikkatimi çekti. Etrafta nedenini tam olarak bilmesem de bir çok uçak maketi vardı ben de yakınlaşıp bunları çektim.

Heykelin yanında kocaman bir Türk Bayrağı vardı, gökte nazlı nazlı dalgalanıyordu ❤️

Ben uçak maketlerini çektiğim sırada bir aile ve çocukları heykele doğru yaklaşmışlardı. Heykelde Türkiye Cumhuriyeti' nin kurucusu Mustafa Kemal Atatürk en önde ve yanında iki kişi daha vardı açıkçası yaptığım  kısa araştırmada onların kim olduğunu bulamadım ama ilk Türk kadın Pilot Sabiha Gökçen olabileceğini tahmin ettim.

Heykelin yanında bir de bina vardı.

Burası bir askeriye binası ya da askeriye lojmanı olmalı. Fotoğrafı çektiğim yer bir meydan sayılır, bir heykel iki uçak maketi ve fotoğrafta görebileceğiniz,  oturma yerleri olarak kullanılan betondan merdiven bloklar. Resmi törenlerde Atatürk heykellerine çiçek-çelenk bırakılır bu gibi törenlerin gerçekleştiği bir yer olmalı burası. Kalabalığın oturabilmesi için de etrafı bu şekilde düzenlemişler.

Ayrıca Büyükçekmece Belediye binası hemen yakında gözüküyordu.

Uzaktan çekimde bu şekilde. Buradan ayrılıp sahile doğru ilerledik bir kaç dakika sonra KIYI İSTANBUL MARİNA'nın kapılarından geçtik daha önce bu mekana geldiğimiz için buranın içerisinden de dolaşarak geçip sahile doğru yürüdük.

Burası da ayrı güzel bir yer fakat sadece buranın fotoğraflarını çektim.

Deniz çok berraktı ve sığ bir su derinliği vardı. Sahil kıyısı boyunca ilerledik. Bir yerde karşımıza denizin ortasına konmuş bir restoran çıktı.

Burası da uzaktan mekanın görünümü. Denizin ortasında oldukça büyük bir yer, ilgimi çok çekti.

Sahilin devamına hatta neredeyse sonuna kadar yürüdük bir çok kafe-restoran solumuzda kaldı sağımızda da deniz bize eşlik etti. O kadar uzun yürüdük ki arada yorulup sahil kenarına konmuş banklarda dinlendik.

Yürüyerek geldiğimiz bu uçtan dikkatli bir şekilde baktığımda, fotoğrafta da görebilirsiniz, sahile çıkmadan önce gördüğümüz büyük bayrak gözüküyordu. Epey yorulunca ve üşüyünce geri dönüp beğendiğimiz bir kafeye geçtik.  

Anlatacak çok şey var ve başlayınca duramıyorum ama bugünlük bu postu burada kessem yeterli olacak daha yapacak başka işlerim de var. Sevgiyle kalın... Okuduğunuz için teşekkürler🌸

Albatros çok havalı görünüyor. Sanırım, Deniz kenarında bir masasında oturabilmek için, gitmeden önce rezervasyon yapılması gereken yerlerden.
