Un week-end à Bagnoles-de-l'Orne (Partie 14)

Nous voici sur les lieux de l'ancien ***château-fort de Domfront***. Celui-ci a été construit sur une position dominante, posé sur un éperon de grés armoricain, permettant d'avoir une excellente vue sur la vallée en contrebas... et les éventuels belligérants. 

Il ne reste plus grand chose, aussi est-ce le moment de laisser libre-cours à notre imagination pour reconstituer la vie d'alors sur ce site de défense.

La visite est gratuite mais il existe également des visites guidées si vous voulez en connaitre davantage sur ce château-fort.

En plus il dominait toute la vallée, la vue y est superbe. La France recèle de nombreux châteaux qui témoignent tant de sa richesse architecturale que de sa grandeur passée. 👍
