Competitions are a common thing held during the commemoration of independence day. In Indonesia, one of the most frequently held competitions is the cracker eating contest. This event is usually held for children. A cracker will be hung using a rope and the children will be asked to eat the cracker without using their hands. This post is part of my entry on the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes. I took these photos when I was doing a community service program organized by the university where I studied. This activity is located in an area known as "Takengon", which is located in the district of Central Aceh. Hope you like it!
