This video is a super-quick way to get up to speed in  Python.  It's a complete course on all the key Python concepts.  If you have programmed in other languages, you should  be able  to grok the Python terminology by simply watching the video straight through.  Python is a simple enough language that just a little practice will get you up to speed.  

If you don't have any programming experience, no need to worry.  The instructor explains all  the basic concepts, which are common to just about every programming language, clearly and simply.

After you have watched this 4+ hour video and installed Python and PyCharm, a commonly used environment designed specifically for Python, and if you know GitHub, you should be able to read the code of virtually any cryptocurrency project, such as steem, bitcoin, and ethereum.  You should then be able to contribute to your chosen project.
