Hoy mi hijo Rafael recibió una asignación un poco diferente, al parecer forma parte de una serie de actividades que fueron ordenadas a ser aplicadas por la docente por 21 días, realmente cayó de manera sorpresiva porque no tiene que ver con la planificación que venía ejecutando, pero a pesar de que tuvimos una tarde ocupada en la academia de ajedrez, nos pusimos a realizar la actividad en familia, la misma se trataba de leer y copiar un poema sobre la importancia de las manos, hacer un cuadro con la huellas de los miembros de la familia y responder unas preguntas reflexivas  en el cuaderno.

>Today my son Rafael received a slightly different assignment. It seemed to be part of a series of activities the teacher had assigned to be carried out for 21 days. It really came as a surprise because it had nothing to do with the planning I had been doing. But despite a busy afternoon at the chess academy, we got down to the task as a family. The activity involved reading and copying a poem about the importance of hands, making a chart with the handprints of family members, and answering some thoughtful questions in our notebooks.

Pusimos manos a la obra con el cuadro utilizando lo poco que teníamos en casa, pues no nos dio tiempo de comprar otros materiales, así que usamos un poco de una lámina de papel bond qué había quedado de un proyecto anterior,  pinturas al frío y tizas, como no somos muchos en casa no necesitábamos mucho espacio, solo las manos de mi mamá,  las de Rafael y las mías.

> We started working on the painting using what little we had at home, since we didn’t have time to buy other materials, so we used some leftover bond paper from a previous project, cold-temperature paints, and chalk. Since there aren’t many of us at home, we didn’t need much space, just my mom’s hands, Rafael’s, and mine.

En una parte del poema decía que con las manitas se hacían maripositas , así que tomamos esa idea para disponer las huellas de las manos en una posición que se asemejara a las alas de una mariposa, mientras que las huellas de mi mamá sería las hojas de la planta donde se pasaban las mariposas, esto idea resultó bien aunque no nos gusta hacer actividades de forma tan inesperada dimos lo mejor que pudimos 😊

> In one part of the poem, it said that little hands make butterflies, so we took that idea and arranged the handprints in a position that resembled butterfly wings, while my mom's handprints would be the leaves of the plant where the butterflies flew. This idea turned out well, although we don't like to do activities so unexpectedly, we did our best 😊
