Hola amigos, contenta de saludarlos hoy les voy a comentar mi experiencia con la lectura de este grandioso libro, ya con esto les indico que me encanto, lo he leído 2 veces, un gran libro de auto ayuda escrita por Robert Fisher y publicada el 1 de Mayo de 1987 por Ediciones Obelisco el autor escribió esta y otras obras de motivación y auto ayuda con su colaboradora kelly Beth.

 Para los que no estén demasiado familiarizados con ese tipo de obras diré que pertenecen a una colección de cuentos  e historias que pretenden, mediante la fantasía, hacernos comprender la manera de comportarnos, nuestros temores y cómo disfrutar de nosotros mismos y de nuestro entorno. Dicho de otro modo: son cuentos con moraleja como los que nos leían de pequeños, pero orientados a adultos.

Ahora bien que quiere lograr el autor Fisher con esta obra. Evidentemente una reacción de auto reconocimiento, es decir, cómo está la persona en relación a sus emociones, si las esconde o no y como se maneja la bondad, el egoísmo, que tipo de armadura colocamos para no ser vistos como somos realmente y por qué. En fin una valoración consciente de nosotros mismos.

La historia gira en torno a un caballero medieval bueno, generoso y amoroso, que dedicaba su vida a luchar en cruzadas, matar dragones y rescatar damiselas. Este caballero portaba en la lucha una bella armadura, que reflejaba unos rayos de luz tan brillantes que el sol parecía salir de él mismo en lugar del cielo. Con el tiempo el caballero se habitúa a llevar la armadura siempre puesta, sin quitársela ni para dormir. Un día, tras las súplicas de su mujer, decide quitársela y descubre que no puede. Así es como comienza un largo peregrinaje para encontrar ayuda para poder deshacerse de su armadura. En este largo viaje recibirá la ayuda del mago Merlín y de otros personajes un tanto peculiares. 
 
Conforme se va leyendo no se puede evitar esbozar una sonrisa cómplice con el protagonista, al reconocer los miedos e inquietudes que expresa, que todos hemos tenido en algún momento de nuestra vida.

In this long journey he will receive the help of the wizard Merlin and other peculiar characters.**

**As you read on, you can't help but smile with the protagonist, recognizing the fears and concerns he expresses, which we have all had at some point in our lives.**

En muchas ocasiones a todos nos pasa algo similar, estamos tan inmersos en nuestra propia "coraza" de vanidad, egoísmo o autocompasión, que creemos saber lo que las demás personas piensan de nosotros; nos refugiamos adentro de nosotros mismos para evitar vernos como realmente somos y evadimos enfrentar nuestra realidad ya que posiblemente no sea la que quisiéramos. Posiblemente a cada uno de nosotros, como al caballero, haya alguien que trate de hacer ver nuestro error, pero casi siempre ignoramos esto y seguimos ciegos a la verdad, es por esto que no tenemos que centrarnos en las grandes cosas simplemente, y tenemos que aprender a valorar cosas como una sonrisa, una flor, o el simple hecho de ser personas y estar vivos; Cosas que ya damos por hechas y que no tenemos en cuenta, pero que a la hora de la verdad son lo más importante y que muchas veces no cuidamos como deberíamos.

Possibly to each one of us, like the gentleman, there is someone who tries to make us see our mistake, but almost always we ignore this and we remain blind to the truth, this is why we do not have to focus on the big things simply, and we have to learn to value things like a smile, a flower, or the simple fact of being people and being alive; Things that we already take for granted and that we do not take into account, but that at the moment of truth are the most important and that many times we do not take care of as we should.**

Me pareció una lectura muy fresca y amena, que permite involucrarse con las aventuras del desventurado caballero que permitió que su mundo se viera opacado por el brillo de su reluciente armadura, sin darse cuenta que era precisamente esa armadura la que lo mantenía aislado de las cosas verdaderamente importantes, como lo eran su familia, sus amigos, el mundo en general. 
Fue tan importante el libro para psicólogos y personas que recomendaron el libro como auto ayuda, que salio el libro “El regreso del caballero de la armadura oxidada”, esta es una historia para próximos días.


¿Recomendaría este libro? Por supuesto que sí, pero dependiendo de tu estado de animo. Sí estás pasando por un momento feliz en tu vida leerlo te recordara la agradable sensación de conocer lo que dice. Si, por el contrario tu vida no está en el mejor momento, leerlo puede recordarte algunas cosas importantes que quizás hayas olvidado.
