Today we continue previous lesson about __New Year Resolution__. After you have done [Lesson #1](https://steemit.com/steemiteducation/@irina.olsen/lesson-1-new-year-resolutions-intermediate-level-part-1) you can do the exercises below.

__DAY 1__

__1)__	New Year is also the traditional time to make resolutions…
__2)__	The aim of most resolutions is to ‘turn over a new leaf’. 
__3)__ A lot of people say that their New Year’s Resolutions are to give up a bad habit or to take up a new hobby.
__4)__ I want to carry on going swimming 
__5)__ Resolutions are basically promises to yourself, and like promises, you either keep them or break them. 

__a)__	is either to persist with your new changes or to go back to your old routine 
__b)__	It’s making a fresh or new start in your life. 
__c)__	a kind of promise you make to yourself to improve yourself or your actions 
__d)__	to continue to do something as you were before 
__e)__	to start a new activity for the first time 
__f)__	to stop it

There are several exercises that can help you learn the words. Do two exercises ["flashcards"](https://quizlet.com/258343761/flashcards) in the following order:
* First, go to options and choose "ANSWER WITH -> both"

and do two rounds with "Play" button activated and them with "Shuffle" button activated.
* Second, go to options and choose "ANSWER WITH -> Russian"

and do two rounds with "Play" button activated and them with "Shuffle" button activated.
* Then, go to options and choose "ANSWER WITH -> English"

and do two rounds with "Play" button activated and them with "Shuffle" button activated.

After that do one more exercise ["Learn"](https://quizlet.com/258343761/learn). You can install on your smartphone app for this Quizlet platform and do these exercises when you are travelling in the transport or when you are waiting for something or somebody. This app really helps with learning new words.
