I am currently sitting on the airplane above 34,000 sea level, three hours flight to get to SFO.  Taking these hours to write a blog is not bad.  When I start writing, time goes very quickly.

After 15 days traveling in Taiwan and Japan, it’s time to get back home to see my hubby, two daughters, and my succulents, missing all of them.

I mentioned on my blog before that I bought two round trip air tickets for this trip, one with Eva airline and one with China Airline.

I got some surprise from both airlines companies.  On the way back to Taipei from Japan, the customer service asked my travel buddy and me if we were willing changing seats.  We said we had no problem to do that.  Then she upgraded us from economic to economic premium without paying extra money.  On our way back to SFO from Taipei, we did not have an offer to upgrade seat, but so little passengers that I would find a row of three empty seats to laid down to sleep.

Life is full of surprises, especially when we are traveling.  It’s my first time to visit Taiwan, and we took a lot of taxis there.  I really enjoyed talking to taxi drivers.  Most of them have a lot of life experiences, very friendly, and they were willing to share with us the culture, good foods, interest destinations, not just that, they also shared their opinions on the upcoming election.

From two different groups conversations, both of them were open minded and enjoyed the freedom and peaceful life in Taiwan.  One driver said Taiwan was like a mini China because a lot of people from different provinces.  That’s a reason having so many delicious street foods.

We really enjoyed the street foods there.  They were not just tasty, also very clean.  I asked my doctor to get some antibiotics in case something happened.  He told that no need to worry about it traveling to Taiwan and Japan.  He’s right!

This is the most memorable and fun trip that I had so far.  If you are looking for a place to travel, I recommend you to try Taiwan.  People are so friendly, great foods, tons tasty fruits, and beautiful national parks.  Also, most young people can speak English, but not Japan though.  I was kind of struggling traveling three cities in Japan.  But I still made it and had tons of fun too.  So it’s worth to travel both places like us.

Traveling is exciting and can learn and see a lot of new stuff, so once for a while traveling abroad is very fun.  I will share more of my travels experiences in HIVE in the up coming future.  Hope you like them!
