Desde el 2018 comencé en la anterior Blockchain. Allí mantuve actividades continuas durante un poco más de un año, luego por cuestiones laborales tuve que dejar de publicar. Mi tiempo se había vuelto muy limitado y no podía atender adecuadamente las exigencias que implicaban hacer una publicación. Me debatía en una disyuntiva y preferí suspender mis actividades antes que comenzar a dejar contenidos de baja calidad.

Cuando decidí reincorpórame de nuevo se estaba planteando el tema de la bifurcación. Había un grupo de personas, incluyendo la mayoría de los witnesses, que no estaban de acuerdo con las nuevas condiciones impuestas por el señor Sun. Me costó un tiempo empaparme de aquellas discusiones, pero una vez que entendí de qué se trataba no dude en apoyar al grupo que proponía la separación. De manera que soy uno de los tantos hivers que ha estado en HIVE desde su nacimiento.

Aquellos comienzos en la nueva Blockchain fueron confusos para mí. Se había establecido el sistema de publicar en las comunidades, un asunto que tuve que investigar bastante para saber de qué se trataba. Además, echaba de menos a muchos de mis conocidos que se habían quedado en la otra cadena, y no sabía cómo interpretar el caso de los amigos que publicaban en los dos sitios.

En aquel tiempo recuerdo que un usuario hizo una especie de lista negra donde exponía a las personas que estaban publicando en ambos sitios y la comunidad no estuvo de acuerdo con ese tipo de procedimientos; nadie quería que comenzáramos persiguiendo gente. Algo que me pareció una gran muestra de madurez y tolerancia por parte de los hivers.

En esos primeros meses mis mayores errores estuvieron relacionados con dejar las publicaciones en comunidades que no correspondían y en el uso de etiquetas inadecuadas. Esos errores los he ido subsanando gracias a las recomendaciones de muchos amigos que siempre me han atendido con paciencia y buena voluntad.

Pero aún con esos errores que cometía ocasionalmente siempre conté con el apoyo de votos importantes. Por darles un dato, cuando comencé acá en HIVE mi HP era un poco más de quinientos y en la actualidad ya estoy llegando a los diez mil. Ese crecimiento durante dos años es una muestra del apoyo que he recibido por parte de cuentas grandes y pequeñas.

Otros errores de esos primeros tiempos los cometí tratando de publicar videos. En una o dos ocasiones mi internet, que siempre ha sido muy malo, parecía que no terminaba de subir el video, o lo subía pero se tardaba demasiado tiempo la codificación. Cómo no sabía qué hacer volvía a cargar el video y me ocurría que el mismo video que se había publicado, luego a las diez o doce horas, aparecía publicado de nuevo. Eso me ocasionó llamados de atención por parte de los amigos que están pendientes del plagio, pero entendieron que había sido sin mala intención, por lo que no hubo ningún tipo de medidas en mi contra.

Desde que comencé en la Blockchain he tenido por norma preguntar cada vez que tengo dudas. Tengo claro que este ecosistema es realmente grande, que siempre tiene novedades, por lo que la única forma de estar más o menos al día es preguntando. Por fortuna estamos en un sitio donde siempre vamos a encontrar personas dispuestas a apoyar.

Los que estuvimos en la cadena anterior siempre reivindicamos el cambio positivo que significó para los latinoamericanos el nacimiento de HIVE.

En el otro sitio era extremadamente difícil para los latinoamericanos recibir votos importantes de cuentas grandes. Pero en HIVE eso cambió. Desde el comienzo hubo ballenas que han apoyado decididamente a la gente nuestra. Eso se debe también a que la comunidad latinoamericana y en particular la venezolana, han hecho un enorme esfuerzo de educación de los hivers. Insistiendo en dos temas principales, hacer las cosas bien y jugar limpio.

En todas las comunidades donde hay fuerte presencia latina se hacen permanentemente llamados de atención a no caer en la tentación de irse por el facilismo, en evitar cualquier comportamiento que se pueda interpretar como tramposo, en valorar la importancia de mantener una buena reputación.

No tengo dudas en que ese esfuerzo educativo hecho por las comunidades hispanas para elevar el nivel de los hivers, ha tenido que ver con el gran apoyo con que hoy en día contamos los latinoamericanos. Revisando el feed es común ver en los tops de recompensas publicaciones hechas por venezolanos y por amigos de otros países latinoamericanos.

Cada vez que evalúo mi estancia aquí no tengo la menor duda que hice la elección correcta cuando decidí unirme a HIVE. Acá hemos ido creando una gran familia, donde siempre es posible contar con el acompañamiento y la solidaridad de los hivers.

Siempre me gusta expresar mi agradecimiento a las personas que me ayudan en mi estancia en HIVE, a los amigos de @rutablockchain, @cervantes, @aliento, @hispapro, @hivemexico que siempre están dispuestos a aclarar dudas. A las cuentas grandes que apoyan mis publicaciones, @ocd, @threespeak, @theycallmedan, @appreciator. A todos los hivers que me animan dejando algún comentario en mis publicaciones y apoyando con su voto mediano o pequeño. Sin el apoyo de todos ustedes es difícil mantenerse.

Since 2018 I started in the previous Blockchain. There I maintained continuous activities for a little over a year, then due to work issues I had to stop publishing. My time had become very limited and I could not adequately meet the demands of publishing. I was in a dilemma but I preferred to suspend my activities rather than start leaving low quality contents.

When I decided to rejoin again, the issue of bifurcation was being raised. There was a group of people, including most of the witnesses, who did not agree with the new conditions imposed by Mr. Sun. It took me a while to soak in those discussions, but once I understood what it was all about I did not hesitate to support the group that was proposing the split. So I am one of the many hivers that have been in HIVE since its birth.

Those early days in the new Blockchain were confusing for me. The system of posting to communities had been set up, a matter I had to research quite a bit to know what it was all about. In addition, I missed many of my acquaintances who had stayed on the other network, and I didn't know how to interpret the case of friends posting on both sites.

At that time I remember that one user made a kind of blacklist where he exposed the people who were posting on both sites and the community did not agree with that kind of procedure; nobody wanted us to start chasing people. Something that I thought was a great show of maturity and tolerance on the part of the hivers.

In those first months my biggest mistakes were related to leaving posts in communities that did not correspond and the use of inappropriate tags. I have been correcting those mistakes thanks to the recommendations of many friends who have always assisted me with patience and good will.

But even with those mistakes that I occasionally made, I always had the support of important votes. To give you a fact, when I started here in HIVE my HP was a little more than five hundred and now I am already reaching ten thousand. This growth during two years is a sample of the support I have received from large and small accounts.

Other mistakes in those early days were made trying to post videos. On one or two occasions my internet, which has always been very bad, didn't seem to finish uploading the video, or I uploaded it but it took too long to encode. As I didn't know what to do, I would upload the video again and it would happen that the same video that had been published, after ten or twelve hours, would appear published again. This caused me to be called to attention by friends who are aware of the plagiarism, but they understood that it had been without malicious intent, so there was no action against me.

Since I started in the Blockchain I have made it a rule to ask whenever I have doubts. It is clear to me that this ecosystem is really big, that it always has news, so the only way to be more or less up to date is to ask. Fortunately, we are in a place where we will always find people willing to support us.
Those of us who were in the previous chain always vindicated the positive change that the birth of HIVE meant for Latin Americans.

On the other site it was extremely difficult for Latin Americans to receive important votes from large accounts. But in HIVE that changed. From the beginning there have been whales that have decidedly supported our people. This is also due to the fact that the Latin American community, and in particular the Venezuelan community, has made an enormous effort to educate the hivers, insisting on two main themes, doing things right and playing fair.

In all the communities where there is a strong Latin presence, there are permanent calls of attention not to fall into the temptation of going easy, to avoid any behavior that can be interpreted as cheating, and to value the importance of maintaining a good reputation.

I have no doubt that the educational effort made by the Hispanic communities to raise the level of hivers has had to do with the great support we Latin Americans have today. Reviewing the feed, it is common to see in the top of rewards publications made by Venezuelans and by friends from other Latin American countries.

Every time I evaluate my stay here I have no doubt that I made the right choice when I decided to join HIVE. Here we have been creating a big family, where it is always possible to count on the support and solidarity of the hivers.
I always like to express my gratitude to the people who help me during my stay in HIVE, to the friends of @rutablockchain, @cervantes, @aliento, @hispapro,@hivemexico who are always willing to clarify doubts. To the great accounts that support my publications, @ocd, @threespeak, @theycallmedan, @appreciator.
