얼마 전 비트코인의 시세가 급락하는 모습을 보였고, 덩달아 알트코인도 하락하면서 잠시나마 암호화폐 시장에 먹구름이 끼었습니다. 이러한 소식은 양자컴퓨터에 대한 뉴스로 인한 패닉셀로 보여지지만, 하락 분위기는 순식간에 찾아오면서도 쉽게 반등하기 어려운 것만은 사실입니다.

물론 하루에 30~40% 떨어지는 장은 아니었으니, 요즘같이 횡보를 이어가는 장 분위기 속에서는 8~9% 수준의 하락도 크게만 느껴지게 됩니다. 크게 보면, 작을 수도 있지만, 작게 보면 크게 보일 수 있는 탓에, 요즘 암호화폐 관련 카톡방 분위기는 좋지 않은 것 같습니다.

물론 누군가는 폭락이라고 생각할 수 있겠지만, 더 큰 상승을 기대해볼 수 있는 시장인만큼 이정도의 하락은 잠시 지나가는 소나기 정도로 생각하면 좋을 것 같고, 이러한 마인드를 가져야 조금 더 긴 호흡으로 암호화폐 시장에서 살아남을 수 있지 않을까 생각됩니다.

그도 그럴것이, 우리가 모르는 사이에 암호화폐를 비록하여 블록체인 시장은 국내/외 가리지 않고 커져가는 모습을 보이고 있으면, 앞으로는 더 폭발적으로 상승할 수 있기 때문입니다. 국내 시장과 세계 시장을 보면, 그 성장세와 폭발력은 비슷하게 보여집니다.

2019년 기준 3년 정도만 지나도 대략 4배 정도로 시장 규모가 커질 것으로 예상하고 있는데, 그 예상이 실현되는 그날까지 우리 모두 HODL!!
