Wow. Thanks for pointing this out. This is very disappointing! I will admit I have never bought most of the traditional 911 conspiracy theories. (Yes, this means I may have a few minor non-traditional ones.) But it has been 15+ years since this all happened. I don't believe they have found anything, -since I don't believe in the traditional conspiracy theories- but given the fact I could be wrong, they deserve a chance to show me the evidence of my foolishness. (actually I was just going to let the rest of you screen it for me) and prove to the world alternative things happened. The fact that Steemit is allowing people to repress this information is a major downfall for the voice of freedom. It is like 1984. Are you in the corrections department going back in time and snipping out newspaper articles to change what happened? There needs to be a better conversation about what happened, and social accountability. They want a platform. If steemit cannot be a platform for them, then does that mean all the claims of open unchangable history are lies? Truth, transparency and accountability are important. Blockchain, Blogging, and comments can help provide that. If better technical solutions are needed, let's invent them. Just in case there are new people here, that don't know the backstory. A few years ago Iran announced a missile launch and officially released a photo that showed four rockets taking off. This photo -released by the government went on the front page of newspapers around the world overnight. Then the internet came to the rescue. Someone, I forgot who, pointed out that only three rockets went off, the fourth one failed and they used basic photo shop to fake it. Instantly, to everyone, it was obvious. The Internet then had a field day improving the rest of the failed launch photos. Freedom of speech is important.

Hey man people argued with you 4 months ago that the "steem blockchain" was "uncensorable" and even though Steemit Inc. censored Dark Over Lord you can still view his stuff on Busy & Steempeak.. https://steempeak.com/@thedarkoverlord has wiped ALL of his content. https://busy.org/@thedarkoverlord has wiped 'some' due to DCMA take down notices. I just wanted to point out that he is now censored on the other Steem blockchain interfaces. And lastly that the whole story of "nothing can ever be wiped/removed was a lie.. which I already knew anyhow. Because what if people upload stolen movies.. of course they will have to 'bury/erase' them from public view. I am in no way trying to argue for or against the actions of these platforms who had to do what they had to do.. just pointing out that when everyone argued.. "well you can still see it here, and here, and here" you actually can not. I thought you would find that interesting. Cheers man!

I guess I am the odd man out, whatever. I don't think we should allow our blockchain to be the place cyber criminals come to attempt extort money. The FBI probably called Steemit and told them to remove. You guys understand there is all sorts of content that you cannot host legally? You think homeland security can't stop information here? If a court orders us to remove something ie copyrighed material, slander, ISIS recruitment, child porn etc and we try this nonsense about it only gets removed from the front end they will go after every witness and every server in the USA. How come torrent sites aren't moving to the blockchain, or darkweb drug sites? You think we can just thumb our noses at the law and say we are decentralized and they can't do shit? I disagree, they can do lots, including destroy us.
