Triste poeta, 
ella no volverá y lo sabes;
aún así no puedes evitar 
seguir deshojando tu corazón.

Tu cenicero,
 es el amargo reflejo de tu alma;
allí se queman las horas sin ella 
y también los versos que sabes 
que no leerá.

Triste poeta,
Ella no volverá y lo sabes; 
Tu tampoco volverás...
Deja de buscar 
al que eras antes de su mirada,
antes de la trampa de su sonrisa,
antes de aquel lunar.

No volverás.
No después de tanto, 
no después de ella.
Pero sigue caminando;
así : sin brújula, sin GPS,
con tu montaña de versos 
(los que aún no quemas),
con su nombre tatuado en la piel
y quizá con el tiempo te pierdas 
 para encontrar:
*el camino a casa.*
