Traveling is one of the most fascinating experiences that can exist, to know new destinations and enjoy different horizons is a pleasure that everyone should enjoy, in the XXI century long distance travel is much easier to perform, this thanks to the advancement of technologies that have allowed the various means of transport to offer a quality service at a much faster speed, I particularly believe that when you have the opportunity to travel the world by plane we should not hesitate to do so, as to observe everything from the heights is something great.

>Viajar es una de las experiencias más fascinantes que puedan existir, conocer nuevos destinos y disfrutar de diversos horizontes constituye un placer del cual todos deberíamos disfrutar, en pleno siglo XXI los viajes de larga distancia son mucho más fáciles de realizar, esto gracias al avance de las tecnologías que le han permitido a los diversos medios de transporte ofrecer un servicio de calidad a una velocidad mucho más rápida, particularmente creo que cuando se tiene la oportunidad de recorrer el mundo en avión no debemos dudar en hacerlo, ya que poder observar todo desde las alturas es algo genial.
In this opportunity a McDonnell Douglas MD-82 of the Venezuelan Laser Airlines would take me on a trip from the Simon Bolivar International Airport which serves the city of Caracas to the Francisco Garcia de Hevia National Airport in the city of La Fria, it is a journey that starts from the northern coastal center of the country, towards the west and whose destination is the entrance of the Andes. The takeoff was marked by a very cold and cloudy weather, fortunately there was no rain, but still large cumulus clouds left us a white window that hid our eyes all around us, also the density of the air generated continuous turbulence that kept many passengers in expectation, while others were more relaxed, since with these storms is quite common to cross rough skies.
>En esta oportunidad un McDonnell Douglas MD-82 de la Aerolínea venezolana Laser Airlines me llevaría a un viaje desde el Aeropuerto Internacional Simón Bolívar el cual le sirve a la ciudad de caracas hasta el Aeropuerto Nacional Francisco García de Hevia de La ciudad de La Fría, se trata de un recorrido que parte desde el centro norte costero del país, en dirección al occidente y cuy destino es la entrada de los andes. El despegue estuvo marcado por un clima bastante frio y nublado, afortunadamente no hubo lluvia, pero aun así grandes cúmulos de nubes nos dejaban una ventanilla blanca que ocultaba a nuestros ojos todo nuestro entorno, además la densidad del aire generaba continuas turbulencias que mantenían a muchos pasajeros a la expectativa, mientras otros estábamos más relajados, ya que con estos temporales es bastante común surcar cielos agitados.
This is a journey of about an hour, but in which you can appreciate great landscapes, in favorable conditions we can enjoy the vastness of the sea, many mountains and dozens of rivers, but to tell the truth on this occasion nature kept us blank for at least 35 or 40 minutes, when the approach began and the plane began to descend was when our picture became clearer as the clouds were dissipating leaving us to see a huge plain covered by a blanket of green nature, which undoubtedly corresponds to the characteristic ecosystem of the depression of Lake Maracaibo, which is undoubtedly the most important in the country, both for its biological diversity and its large reserves of coal, it is also thanks to the incredible topography of the area where the Andean and Perijá mountain ranges form a natural wall, which send hundreds of rivers towards the lake, at the same time these chasms lead to the winds in an extraordinary way, which generates a perfect combination that allows the formation of phenomena such as the Catatumbo Lightning.
>Este es un recorrido de aproximadamente una hora, pero en el cual se puede apreciar de grandes paisajes, en condiciones favorables podemos disfrutar de la inmensidad del mar, de muchas montañas y decenas de ríos, pero a decir verdad en esta ocasión la naturaleza nos mantuvo en blanco durante por lo menos unos 35 o 40 minutos, cuando comenzó la aproximación y el avión comenzó a descender fue cuando nuestro panorama se fue aclarando ya que las nubes se iban disipando dejándonos ver una enorme planicie cubierta por un manto de naturaleza verde, la cual corresponde sin duda alguna al ecosistema característico de la depresión del Lago de Maracaibo, la cual es sin duda alguna las mas importante del país, tanto por su diversidad biológica, como por sus grandes reservas de carbón, además es gracias a la increíble topografía de la zona en donde las cordilleras Andina y de Perijá forman una pared natural, las cuales envían a cientos de ríos en dirección al lago, al mismo tiempo estas simas conducen a los vientos en forma extraordinaria, lo cual genera una combinación perfecta que permite la formación de fenómenos tales como el Rayo del Catatumbo.

>Es genial poder disfrutar de paisajes tan sublimes y lindos, además es increíble poder observar la grandeza de nuestro territorio, en los mapas estas zonas se aprecian de una forma muy diferente, pero al vivir esta experiencia en primera persona podemos conocer realmente como es nuestro país, la depresión del lago es una zona en donde las llanuras interminables son interrumpidas por alguno que otro árbol , es un área en donde los ríos serpentean la tierra generando diseños únicos, a diferencia de otras zonas por estos lados el color de las aguas de muchos afluentes es de un tono profundamente marrón, ya que debido a sus características estos suelen arrastrar gran cantidad de sedimentos y también contienen diversos minerales incluyendo el hierro los cuales tienen la capacidad de generar estos rasgos tan notables.
This flight was a great experience, the punctuality of the airline was magnificent and the attention from all the staff was impeccable, the truth is an experience that I hope to repeat, also the general condition of the aircraft seemed excellent, as it has all its safety equipment, it was clean and had very well maintained finishes. It is great to enjoy a trip where you have the comfort and appropriate security, also a journey that by road is almost 24 hours here I could cover it in just 1 hour, which allowed me to have breakfast in Caracas and lunch in the Andes, so if you have the opportunity to board a plane do not hesitate to do it, this is an experience you will never forget.
>Realizar este vuelo fue una gran experiencia, la puntualidad de la aerolínea estuvo magnifica y la atención por parte de todo el personal fue intachable, la verdad es una experiencia que espero volver a repetir, además el estado general de la aeronave me pareció excelente, ya que cuenta con todos sus implementos de seguridad, estaba limpia y contaba con acabados muy bien conservados. Es genial poder disfrutar de un viaje en donde se cuenta con la comodidad y la seguridad apropiada, además un recorrido que por carretera es de casi 24 horas aquí lo pude cubrir en tan solo 1 hora, lo cual me permitió desayunar en Caracas y almorzar en los Andes, así que si tienes la oportunidad de abordar un avión no dudes en hacerlo, esta es una experiencia que no olvidaras jamás.
