***Saludos mis queridos amigos***, con mucho gusto y alegría les saludo en este día. 

Esta iniciativa ha estado muy genial, hacer honor al legado de nuestros antepasados. Ellos quizás ya no están entre nosotros, pero viven en cada latido de nuestro corazón, su sangre corre por nuestras venas, y más que el ADN, nos han dejado talentos únicos en cada uno de nosotros.

Mi familia es bastante numerosa, y parte de nosotros comienza con  un inmigrante español. Y sólo sé eso, en estos días comentaba a mi mamá que bueno hubiese sido en estos momentos que las generaciones hubiesen adquirido la nacionalidad. Bueno, no lo tenemos en papeles, pero si en nuestra genética. 

Gracias a ellos, disfruto de una linda familia, con dones tan particulares y variados. Hay comerciantes, doctores, agricultores, herreros, albañiles, modistas, comediantes, fotógrafos, escritores y así... De los cuales yo a veces siento que no tengo alguno, o por lo menos no los que me hubiese gustado tener, pero eso es otra cosa. T

Puedo decir que probablemente que tengo los dones justos y necesarios para vivir. Los que me tocaban a mi.

Mis abuelos fallecieron siendo yo una niña, pero por las historias puedo decir que mi abuela materna Ramona, era una mujer muy paciente, no solo heredé sus rulos, sino esa paciencia, que a veces mis amigas me dicen es demasiada, pero no me gusta el conflicto con las personas en mi alrededor, aunque esto a veces me genere un conflicto interno, que al final termino resolviendo y todos felices. 

De mi Tía abuela María (Pío) he heredado quizás la forma de criar, un poco de dureza, y disciplina a la antigua, que hoy tildan de erróneo, pero pienso que ha graduado a más personas honradas y exitosas que la actual. 

Pensé que odiaba la matemática, pero un gen que heredé de mi papá y de su descendencia, me hizo descubrir mientras estudiaba una carrera que pensé era en solo informática, que me gustaba y podía entender las matemáticas, me gradué de profesora en esta área para mi sorpresa. 

Y esta herencia también ha llegado hasta ahora en mi hija mayor, quién desde ahora le va muy bien y exclama que no le gusta. 

Además puedo coser, no he profundizado esta área, pero no se me hizo complicado aprender a realizar ropa interior para mis niñas y bralettes para mi y mis amigas. Esto viene gracias a mi mamá y mi tía Juana (QEPD)su hermana mayor.

>From my Great Aunt Maria (Pio) I have inherited perhaps the way of raising, a bit of harshness, and old-fashioned discipline, which today they brand as wrong, but I think it has graduated more honest and successful people than the current one. 

>I thought I hated mathematics, but a gene that I inherited from my dad and his offspring, made me discover while studying a career that I thought was in just computer science, that I liked and could understand mathematics, I graduated as a teacher in this area to my surprise. 

>And this inheritance has also arrived so far in my eldest daughter, who since now is doing very well and exclaims that she does not like it. 

>I can also sew, I have not deepened this area, but it was not complicated for me to learn how to make underwear for my girls and bralettes for me and my friends. This comes thanks to my mom and my aunt Juana (RIP) her older sister.

Si no ha sido por ellos, hoy nos estuviésemos aquí, siendo los ancestros de alguien que nos sigue los pasos. 

Me gusta mucho la música, mi hija lo es, hace poco empecé a estudiar cuatro, vamos a ver si dentro de mi tengo ese don. Seguro mucho de mi se lo debo a ellos, por ejemplo muchos me han dicho que mi don es el  del aconsejar, para mi buena o mala suerte tengo muy buena intuición, solo que no le escucho y tengo fe en las personas. 

Y aunque me han herido sigo confiando y queriendo, sin hacer daño a los demás. 

De seguro hay muchas cosas en mi por despertar, pero se que estaré bien, porque mis ancestros fueron hombres y mujeres valientes. Mi tío murió de cáncer y acepto su enfermedad con una sonrisa, mi tía Juana aún sin sus dos piernas, y casi ciega, se reía y pintaba esa boca de rojo. Todos los días se maquillaba. 


Pero puede decir una cosa muy importante de mi familia, aunque todos trabajamos para ganar dinero y poder vivir dignamente, no es lo que ponemos en primer lugar, son desprendidos y generosos. Quizás nunca seré una Rockfeller, pero me llevaré a la tumba esos recuerdos de cosas que quise hacer, probar y conocer junto a mis hijas. La vida es corta, y solo tengo seguro el presente.

My uncle died of cancer and accepted his illness with a smile, my aunt Juana, even without her two legs, and almost blind, laughed and painted her mouth red. Every day she wore make-up. 


>But you can say one very important thing about my family, although we all work to earn money and be able to live with dignity, it is not what we put in first place, they are detached and generous. Maybe I will never be a Rockfeller, but I will take to my grave those memories of things I wanted to do, try and know with my daughters. Life is short, and I only have the present for sure.
