Es una tarde de 2012, y me encuentro junto a mis amigas Karina y Alicia, en su casa recreandonos con la música y el cine.  Luego aparece ella, Diana @chacald.dcymt, la hermana mayor de mis amigas, ella saluda y sigue su camino, tiene una perfumería que atender. Pero tambien mucho trabajo que hacer en la computadora  que ocupamos, así que a eso de las 5 de la tarde, desocupemos por qué Diana tiene que trabajar. 

Diana es una chica diferente,  no es rockera como sus hermanas, es amistosa pero no parecemos tener mucho en común. Me pregunto, si podremos ser amigos... Además le han dicho que soy una mala influencia para sus hermanas.

Así fue como conocí a Diana, la chica que de manera insospechada se convirtió en una de las personas más importantes de mi vida, pues su amistad incondicional y su cariño me impulsan en mi día a día a seguir adelante,  su actitud.ante la vida me inspira,  ella es sinónimo de bienestar para mí. 

Nuestra historia está llena de aventuras, en aquella época, cuando fui novio de su hermana, compartimos y convivimos como una familia,  son incontables las películas que vimos juntos, los paseos, las meriendas, las conversaciones, los planes conjuntos, los juegos. Construimos una gran amistad, una amistad de esas que son para siempre.

Cuando Diana enfermó el mundo se vino abajo para todos, el miedo nos invadió, y nos aferramos a la esperanza, cuánta incertidumbre, las sombras y la.oscuridad se apoderaban de nuestro entorno. Pero fue Diana , ella misma quien se encargó de traer luz con su actitud positiva ante este monstruo que amenazaba su vida, ella con su brillo trajo paz ,  ahuyentó el miedo y fomentó la esperanza. 


Cuando ella.tomó la decisión de partir para Cuba a recibir el tratamiento que no podía.recibir en Venezuela. La esperanza creció aún más. Sus estudios y tratamientos alternativos   en Cuba no fueron nada fáciles para ella,  pero Diana demostró de que está hecha tanto física como mentalmente, eso sí con el apoyo de sus esposo quien no la abandonó ni un segundo, ella no se dejó caer por los diagnósticos poco prometedores y los tratamientos de radioterapia. Su estadía  en el hospital fue muy difícil, sobre todo al ver cómo muchos de sus amigos del hospital perdían la batalla.

Después de un par de años, Diana volvió a Venezuela,  con nada más y nada menos que una bebé, que ha traído mucha felicidad a la familia. Y para mí y para todos los que  la queremos ha sido un regalo de  la vida poder disfrutar nuevamente de su amistad, darle un abrazo, mirarla a los ojos , oir su voz y su risa y darse cuenta de que después de tanta oscuridad ella está aquí con nosotros.

Así que que hoy celebro su cumpleaños, y agradezco al universo por su amistad, por ser parte bonita de la historia de mi vida, por su existencia, por siempre estar, por enseñarme tanto sobre la vida , inspirarme  e incluso sin darse cuenta por ayudarme a levantar.

Una niña que desde el principio fue luz  al cuidado de sus hermanas.
La vida y el destino me dieron el regalo de su amistad,
De su  cálida luz. 
Por ello le dedico este escrito en su día.*

It's an afternoon in 2012, and I find myself with my friends Karina and Alicia, at their house recreating ourselves with music and movies. Diana is a different girl, she is not a rocker like her sisters, she is friendly but we don't seem to have much in common. I wonder if we can be friends? Plus she's been told I'm a bad influence on her sisters.

That's how I met Diana, the girl who unexpectedly became one of the most important people in my life, because her unconditional friendship and her affection push me in my day to day to move forward, her attitude towards life inspires me, she is synonymous of well-being for me. 

Our history is full of adventures, at that time, when I was her sister's boyfriend, we shared and lived together as a family, there are countless movies we watched together, walks, snacks, conversations, joint plans, games. We built a great friendship, one of those friendships that last forever.

When Diana got sick the world fell apart for all of us, fear invaded us, and we clung to hope, how much uncertainty, shadows and darkness took over our surroundings. But it was Diana herself who was in charge of bringing light with her positive attitude to this monster that threatened her life, she brought peace with her brightness, she chased away fear and fostered hope. 


When she.made the decision to leave for Cuba to receive the treatment she could not receive in Venezuela. Hope grew even more. Her studies and alternative treatments in Cuba were not easy for her, but Diana showed what she was made of both physically and mentally, with the support of her husband who did not abandon her for a second, she did not let the unpromising diagnoses and radiotherapy treatments get her down. Her hospital stay was very difficult, especially seeing how many of her hospital friends lost their battle.

After a couple of years, Diana returned to Venezuela, with nothing more and nothing less than a baby girl, who has brought a lot of happiness to the family. And for me and for all of us who love her it has been a gift of life to be able to enjoy her friendship again, to give her a hug, to look into her eyes, to hear her voice and her laughter and to realize that after so much darkness she is here with us.

So today I celebrate her birthday, and thank the universe for her friendship, for being a beautiful part of my life story, for her existence, for always being, for teaching me so much about life , inspiring me and even inadvertently for helping me get up when I'm down.
