<h1>Types of AI</h1>

<p>There’s 4 different types of AI which are:</p>

- **Reactive machines** are basic type of AI, they have the ability neither to form memories and use past experience or use it to affect their actions. Those AI can make prediction and choose the most optimal thing to do, on what they can see.


- **Limited Memory** look into the past, to make things that can’t be done in one moment, they can for example observe speed and direction of a car.

- **Theory of mind AI** are AI that might appear in the future. Those machines can not only form a representation about the world but they can also form a representation about  agents or entities in the world. Those AI understand our emotions to change their behavior

- **Self awareness  AI** should be a AI that has a consciousness, and form representation about themselves.Those Ai now their internal feelings and can predict feelings of others.


<h1>Progress in AI:</h1>

AI progressed in a lot of tasks where they are better than humans, but there's other tasks in which they are still performing worse than most humans.
Here are the different classification of AI capabilities compared to most humans capabilities:

- Optimal: It is not possible to make better than AI in those games :
1. Tic-tac-toe
2. Connect four
3. Checkers
4. Rubik’s cube (records: only 0,38s for Ai and 4,59s for a human)
5. Hold’em poker

- Super-Human: No human can perform better than AI in those games :
1. reversi
2. Scrabble
3.  Backgammon
4. Chess (Computer programs have been able to beat the best human chess                      players since IBM's deep blue supercomputer defeated kasparov on 12 March 1997.)
5. Arimaa
6. GO	(In October 2015 alphaGO defeated Fan Hui, the european GO    champion)

- High Human : AI perform better than most humans in those games:
1. Bridge
2. Crosswords

- Par human : AI and human are equal in those tasks : 
1. optical character recognition
2. classification of image (here is the AI progress in classification of images throw years compared to humans)

- Sub Human : Most humans perform better than AI :
1. Object recognition (Google recently released a new Tensorflow Object Detection API)

The first tool can detect facial expressions.

The second tool detects what is happening in the picture (the context).

The third tool detect different types of inappropriate content from adult to violent content.

2.Facial recognition ( apple’s technology, face ID captures accurate face data by projecting and analyzing over 30,000 invisible dots to create a depth map of your face and also captures an infrared image of your face to unlock the phone

3.Translation (deepl is a translator which is using AI, deepl is based on the largest database of human translation.
