Existe cierto saludo africano, donde se manifiesta cuantas veces ha comido en el día cualquier individuo, grande o pequeño.

Por ejemplo si se le pregunta a cualquiera , que como ha estado el día y responde:

1-0-1.

Hace alusión que la persona, desayunó, no almorzó, pero si ceno.

Que particular forma de saludarse.

Pese a todo, si dicho saludo se hiciera particular a nivel mundial, serian muchos los que dirían que su día ha estado 0-0-0.

Pues no solo han sido los hermanos africanos quienes han sido victimas de las desgarradoras garras del hambre y la pobreza.


A nivel mundial, el hambre sigue cobrando no solo mas auge o poder, sino que sigue cobrándose la vida de millones de personas.

Entre ellos, los jóvenes y niños, y ¿Por qué es particularmente llamativo que jóvenes y niños sigan siendo presa de esta desgarradora situación, cuando son los adultos, personas con mucho dinero y poder, quienes han fomentado esta situación?
 
Las respuestas a estas preguntas siguen y seguirán siendo incógnitas para muchos.

Pese a que en la actualidad, existen más recursos y dinero a nivel internacional, programas de ayuda para menores, representantes internacionales que hacen seguimiento a esta situación tan deplorable, sigue aumentado considerablemente no solo la escasez de cosas necesarias para los mas afectados, sino también, la población juvenil que sigue aumentando sin nadie que pueda detener.

En mi país Venezuela, es común ver a niños a niños, de edad escolar, visitando panaderías, casas, plazas, pidiendo tan siquiera un pedazo de pan para comer, para compartir con sus hermanos.

Niños desnutridos que han sido presa de situaciones catastróficas, que le han robado fácilmente la felicidad de jugar y sonreír, a fingir en muchos casos, una necesidad para poder tener algo en sus estómagos.

De todos modos, en muchos países y en muchos lugares, con poco o muchos recursos, parece que la plaga de la escases y la hambruna sigue cobrando territorios, cruzando fronteras y lugares, cabalgando a todo galope, sin medir las consecuencias, ni a quienes atropelle.

Lo cierto, es que mientras mas se avance para tratar de remediar este mal generalizado, más hacia atrás pareciera que avanzamos 
en cuanto a éste respecto.

However, if this greeting were made particular worldwide, there would be many who would say that their day has been 0-0-0-0.

For it is not only our African brothers and sisters who have fallen victim to the heartbreaking clutches of hunger and poverty.


Globally, hunger continues to gain not only more power, but to claim the lives of millions of people.

Why is it particularly striking that young people and children continue to fall prey to this heartbreaking situation, when it is adults, people with a lot of money and power, who have fostered this situation?
 
The answers to these questions remain and will remain unknown to many.

Despite the fact that nowadays, there are more resources and money at the international level, aid programs for minors, international representatives that follow up on this deplorable situation, not only the shortage of necessary things for the most affected, but also the youth population that continues to increase with no one to stop it, continues to increase considerably.

In my country Venezuela, it is common to see children of school age visiting bakeries, houses, squares, asking for even a piece of bread to eat, to share with their brothers and sisters.

Malnourished children who have fallen prey to catastrophic situations, which have easily robbed them of the happiness of playing and smiling, to pretend in many cases, a need to be able to have something in their stomachs.

Anyway, in many countries and in many places, with little or many resources, it seems that the plague of scarcity and famine continues to claim territories, crossing borders and places, riding at full gallop, without measuring the consequences, or those who run over.

The truth is that the more progress is made in trying to remedy this generalized evil, the more backward it seems that we are advancing in this respect.
