## <center>Sentimientos Gatunos</center>

En su último suspiro, el gato negro soltó un maullido. Parecía que había logrado percibir que la muerte le había llegado a su ser más querido. La habitación del hospital yacía cerrada, mientras que, por otro lado, el gato se encontraba en el apartamento de su dueña. El pobre animal empezó a andar por todo el sitio como si estuviese poseído, desesperado por salir de aquellas paredes; rasgando las ventanas intentando encontrar una salida que lo llevara al encuentro con su madre humana.
Lloraba impaciente, sus maullidos y bufidos constantes atormentaban a los residentes de aquel tranquilo edificio. Después de unas horas, y gracias a las quejas de los vecinos, su padre humano volvió al apartamento. El llamado de los vecinos le había recordado que su mascota se hallaba sola y molesta en aquel hogar.
Al llegar, el gato negro se lanzó a los pies de aquel hombre, quien con ojos hinchados de tanto llorar, cargó a aquella bola de pelos acurrucándolo en su pecho mientras este solo maullaba de forma constante. Era un gato callejero que había sido rescatado por aquella pareja y que juntos habían cuidado de él hasta volverse un pequeño revoltoso.
El hombre sabía lo mucho que su esposa amaba a aquel peludito, por lo que decidió llevarlo a sepelio. Tomó un baño y se puso su traje negro que hacía juego con sus grandes ojeras y con el pelaje de su mascota. Después de peinarse, tomó el kennel y metió a su mascota dentro. El viaje a la casa funeraria fue corto, pero los maullidos del gato no cesaban, se hacían más fuertes y notorios.
Al bajar del auto, el hombre tomó el kennel y lo llevó hasta la entrada. Los animales no eran permitidos en la casa funeraria, pero después de pagar mucho dinero, dejaron pasar al hombre y a su mascota sin rechistar. La gente en el lugar lloraba desconsolada, pero al oír al gato, sus ojos se desviaron a él. Había captado la atención inmediata de los familiares y amigos. Entonces, el hombre sacó al gato del kennel, y este inmediatamente corrió hasta la urna, maullando con mucho sentimiento.
El pequeño se quedó a los pies de aquella caja de madera que contenía su más preciado tesoro. Maullando de manera incansable por la mujer que lo había salvado del abandono y la muerte. Con este acto tan hermoso, los prejuicios se disiparon, pues muchos suelen decir que los gatos son seres despiadados e independientes, pero nadie conoce lo que puede hacer un acto de amor. Cuidar de quien no posee fuerzas y mucho menos un hogar no tiene precio.

## <center>Cat Feelings</center>

In her last breath, the black cat let out a meow. It seemed that he had managed to sense that death had come to his loved one. The hospital room lay closed, while, on the other hand, the cat was in its owner's apartment. The poor animal began to walk around the place as if possessed, desperate to get out of those walls; tearing the windows trying to find a way out that would lead him to meet his human mother.
He cried impatiently, his constant meowing and snorting tormented the residents of that quiet building. After a few hours, and thanks to the neighbors' complaints, his human father returned to the apartment. The neighbors' call had reminded him that his pet was lonely and upset in that home.
Upon arrival, the black cat threw himself at the feet of the man, who with eyes swollen from crying, carried the furry ball of fur and cuddled it to his chest while it meowed steadily. It was a stray cat that had been rescued by that couple, and together they had taken care of him until he became a little troublemaker.
The man knew how much his wife loved that little furry cat, so he decided to take him to the funeral. He took a bath and put on his black suit that matched his dark circles under his eyes and his pet's fur. After combing her hair, he took the kennel and put his pet inside. The trip to the funeral home was short, but the cat's meowing did not stop, it became louder and more noticeable.
Getting out of the car, the man took the kennel and carried it to the entrance. Animals were not allowed in the funeral home, but after paying a lot of money, they let the man and his pet in without complaint. The people in the place cried disconsolately, but when they heard the cat, their eyes wandered to him. He had caught the immediate attention of family and friends. So, the man took the cat out of the kennel, and it immediately ran to the urn, meowing with great feeling.
The little guy stood at the foot of the wooden box containing his most precious treasure. He meowed tirelessly for the woman who had saved him from abandonment and death. With this beautiful act, prejudices were dispelled, because many people say that cats are ruthless and independent beings, but no one knows what an act of love can do. Caring for someone who has no strength, let alone a home, is priceless.
