Hey everyone, I hope you all are fine and doing great !!! I was busy this last week, that's why couldn't write about Ecency, but here I am with my take on Ecency.

I am an old Ecency user, in fact, I used it when it was Esteem and believe that I had fallen in love with this app. I am a PC user, and I use it on PC Ecency.com. 

As I have said before, currently I am only working/blogging on Hive to earn for my family and most of the time I sit in front of my PC commenting on people's blogs and also writing my own blog/posts and do that, I only use Eceny.

The feature i am going to write in this post is Boosting.

I am in love with this feature, it allows your boost to go up in the ranking and your chance of getting noticed is also increased, and the points you use to boost your post can be earned through engaging on the hive platform using ecency.com.

There are multiple ways you can earn these points and I am going to discuss them below.

- Posting

You can earn Ecency points by posting using Ecency.com, for the first post you make you will get 15 points and for the 2nd you post you will get 11 points and for the 3rd you will get 8 and so on until you reach zero and further you will get no points on the same day.

- Comments

Commenting is the best option to engage with the community on Hive, it increases reach, for the first comment you make using Ecency.com, you will get 5 points and for the 2nd you will 4.667 and for the 3rd you will get 4.334 and so on until you reach zero and further you will not get any points on the same day.  You will start getting points on the next day. 

* Reblogging

Reblogging others also gives you Ecency points as a token of appreciation from Ecency. 

* Delegation

Delegating your Ecency also gives you points as a reward, for each 1000 delegations you will get 100 points a day. 

* Community

If you want to build your own community on hive blockchain, create it using Ecency and get juicy 20 points. 

* Buy Points. 

YOu can also buy Ecency points by your card using the Buy Points option available on the Ecency app.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, how you can boost your post using Ecency points. 

Just got to any of your posts and clicked the three dots as seen in the picture below.

When clicking, the menu will open, from the menu select the boost option and select the points you want to use to boost your boost.

 I recommend you to use 150 Points.  with 150 points there are more chances for your boost to get a boost.
