The plan to launch a new cryptocurrency by forking the Litecoin network passed without serious technical complications this weekend, but it seems that the market has not yet adopted a new coin. 

Currently, Litecoin is trading Cash for only $5 with the trading volume of slightly more than $ 1 million. LCC's capitalization is estimated at only 2% of the Litecoin project, the fifth largest cryptocurrency in the world, with nearly $ 1 billion in daily trading volume. 

Low prices follow what was a notable start with respect to price action. LCC started trading at $ 1.40 and rose to $ 9.25 a day on February 20, showing a 560% increase, according to the data of the CoinCodex service (one of the few that still offers data on the project). 

However, despite the ready audience, no major exchange has yet announced support for the LCC. At the moment, the coin is listed only on YoBit, while other exchanges mentioned on the Litecoin Cash website (Mercatox and Trade Satoshi) have not yet integrated the cryptocurrency. 

It seems that the selection of name for the currency proved to be the biggest drawback. The Creator of Litecoin Charlie Lee showed himself as an early critic, and even the developers of Litecoin Cash admitted that the choice of the name is an advertising move. Lee tried to blame the team of cryptocurrency is that it uses user confusion. Many users as well as Lee note that Litecoin has no ideological problems in its community, similar to those that led to the formation of #Bitcoin Cash. 

In General, the 24-hour trading volume of Litecoin Cash, compared to $5.6 million at the beginning of the week, is now quite low, given the attention that the fork received in anticipation of its appearance.
