Un Viaje de Inspiración y Creación

Este nuevo semestre en Unearte ha sido un respiro lleno de posibilidades. Mis estudiantes nuevos, agrupados en tres clases distintas, cada uno con personalidades propias, han traído consigo una chispa que ilumina el ambiente. Son talentosos, curiosos y siempre dispuestos a hacer preguntas sobre técnicas en Photoshop. Me sorprende su deseo de salirse del molde, de romper las barreras que muchas veces nosotros, como profesores, intentamos establecer. Cada sesión me empuja a ser mejor en mi rol, a profundizar en mis conocimientos y a compartir no solo técnicas, sino también la pasión por el arte digital.

Mi trabajo en el mundo digital son una mezcla de insistir arduamente y de sueñar. Busco mejorar mis ingresos desde casa, diseñando, porque el arte es mi vocación y mi refugio. Mi vida se centra en dedicarme plenamente a las artes, y estos estudiantes son el aliciente perfecto para intensificar mi compromiso. Ellos me inspiran a ser más dedicada, no solo en el aula, sino también en mi vida personal. Cada día trae consigo nuevas oportunidades para aprender y crear, y aunque reconozco que no soy perfecta y que aún tengo mucho que madurar en mi proceso creativo, siento que tengo algo especial que ofrecer.

Las fuentes de mi inspiración son mis pilares: mi hija, mi madre y mi vida diaria. La semana pasada, tuve la maravillosa oportunidad de tener a mi mamá a mi lado. Aunque ella padece Alzheimer y no comprendía por completo lo que sucedía en el aula, su presencia fue un regalo invaluable. Verla allí, sentada, observándome como profesora, me llenó de emoción. Ese momento fue una reafirmación de que, a pesar de los desafíos, siempre hay belleza en la conexión familiar y en el apoyo incondicional.

La vida en las artes no es fácil, especialmente considerando la situación compleja que enfrenta nuestro país. Sin embargo, cada respiro que tengo es una oportunidad de invertir tiempo y energía en mi pasión. Mis estudios en idiomas en la UCV siguen siendo parte de mi camino, un anhelo que deseo retomar y finalizar. Pero, al final del día, el verdadero amor reside en crear visualmente. Siento que cada paso que doy en este viaje vale la pena, porque puedo ofrecer algo que realmente cautive.

Vivir con una condición mental añade capas de complejidad a mi existencia. He convivido con ella durante años, y aunque no es sencillo, he aprendido que cada día es una nueva oportunidad. A veces me he sentido consumida por esa luz brillante que puede quemar, pero, a través de la oscuridad, hay lecciones valiosas. Quiero ver mi vida como una proeza infinita, con su carga de retos, pero también con su riqueza de experiencias y aprendizajes.

Hoy miro hacia adelante, con esperanza y determinación. Estoy lista para seguir creando, para ser la mejor profesora que mis estudiantes merecen y, sobre todo, para abrazar cada nuevo día como una oportunidad para hacerlo mejor. La vida es un lienzo en blanco, y estoy emocionada de llenar ese espacio con color, emoción y arte en cada trazo.

A Journey of Inspiration and Creation

This new semester at Unearte has been a respite full of possibilities. My new students, grouped into three distinct classes, each with their own personalities, have brought with them a spark that lights up the atmosphere. They are talented, curious and always willing to ask questions about Photoshop techniques. I am amazed at their desire to break out of the mold, to break the barriers that we, as teachers, often try to set up. Each session pushes me to be better in my role, to deepen my knowledge and to share not only techniques, but also a passion for digital art.

My work in the digital world is a mixture of hard work and dreaming. I seek to improve my income from home, designing, because art is my vocation and my refuge. My life is focused on dedicating myself fully to the arts, and these students are the perfect incentive to intensify my commitment. They inspire me to be more dedicated, not only in the classroom, but also in my personal life. Each day brings with it new opportunities to learn and create, and while I recognize that I am not perfect and still have much to mature in my creative process, I feel I have something special to offer.

The sources of my inspiration are my pillars: my daughter, my mother and my daily life. Last week, I had the wonderful opportunity to have my mom by my side. Although she has Alzheimer's and did not fully understand what was going on in the classroom, her presence was a priceless gift. Seeing her there, sitting there, watching me as a teacher, filled me with emotion. That moment was a reaffirmation that, despite the challenges, there is always beauty in family connection and unconditional support.

Life in the arts is not easy, especially considering the complex situation facing our country. However, every breath I have is an opportunity to invest time and energy in my passion. My studies in languages at UCV continue to be part of my path, a longing that I wish to resume and finish. But, at the end of the day, true love lies in creating visually. I feel that every step I take on this journey is worth it, because I can offer something that really captivates.

Living with a mental condition adds layers of complexity to my existence. I have lived with it for years, and although it is not easy, I have learned that every day is a new opportunity. At times I have felt consumed by that bright light that can burn, but, through the darkness, there are valuable lessons. I want to see my life as an infinite feat, with its load of challenges, but also its wealth of experiences and learning.

Today I look forward, with hope and determination. I am ready to keep creating, to be the best teacher my students deserve and, above all, to embrace each new day as an opportunity to do better. Life is a blank canvas, and I am excited to fill that space with color, emotion and art in every stroke.
